Bulls announcers: "we'd like to be able to update you on the Frye and Richardson injuries, but the morons here with the Knicks will not update us."

did they really say that? lol

I agree with you in principal, but this season the fans are clearly being hard on the team and it's having a negative effect. I understand everyone is frustrated, but they're 4-4 on the road and and 1-5 at home against basically the same teams.

I bet they do much better against the Bulls in Chicago.

maybe they're overcome with an unbearable sense of guilt for last season.

huh? I think it's fair to say that last season was so awful that neither the fans nor the Knicks like being at the Garden.

And the players promised it was an aberration, and Larry's fault, and that this year would be waaaay different, but it's shaping up to be far too similar to last year at home.

then why do you think it's completely different on the road?

I simply don't agree. These guys play good, they get cheered. They play bad, they get booed. How bad do you have to play to get down by 20 to a disappointing team?

Either way, in the course of our argument, we are now down by 20 again.

I agree with you in principal, but this season the fans are clearly being hard on the team and it's having a negative effect. I understand everyone is frustrated, but they're 4-4 on the road and and 1-5 at home against basically the same teams.

The fundamental difference is, to me, you are argung that the fans need to support the players. With this I agree. But the players have to give the fans something to support. The booing didn't start the first game of the season.

I just feel it is the players responsibility to try to play through adversity-home crowd disappointment being one of them-and never use the fans as an excuse for bad play.

hmm, I feel like the fans were booing right off the bat in the Indiana game, despite it being like a five point game at halftime. I remember Marbury having a lot of turnovers and getting booed repeatedly.

I missed the Indy game-had work, and I am not gonna watch that edited Knicks in 60 crap.

If they did you may have a point. But my counterpoint is Marbury blamed LB for so much and was so vocal about how much better he would be after LB was gone. Then he comes out in the first home game of the season and plays very poorly after playing very poorly on the road.

Fans do not just come with this much vitriol without a reason.

Blaming loosing on the fans is some weak shiat. Don't even bring it here. Next thin you know you'll be laming fans for IT's trades. Oh but wait, LB made him do it!

so why are they better on the road against the same teams? it's easy for opponents to come into the garden and play well. the fans should make it harder.

At this rate, Steph's probably trying to make trades behind Isiah's back.

You sure about that one?

1-6 at home, 4-4 on the road. What is different about home and the road? The fans. You figure it out.

yeah, Marbury is a mystery to me this season. I think he's putting pressure on himself, but it's ugly to watch.

wow, even the Bulls announcers can't talk trash about Balkman.

doesn't one's sense of guilt heighten when they are in the presense of those they offended?

What? That has to be the absolute most off the wall not have anything to do with anything in this conversation explanation that I ever heard.

Tell me why Isiah abandoned the Zone after it worked so well and this team played it so well yesterday. Why did Balkman get so little PT tonight? Why is this team constantly getting bogged down in Iso's at home while on the road they are running and constantly in motion?

There are alot of differences between home and road games other than the crowd to just draw the inference that the crowd is the reason.

I am thinking it was less of a mistake, but we still could have had Rondo or Williams with him.....

The zone wouldn't work against the Bulls, they are a superior perimeter shooting team and are much more discipline than the Celts.

They playes zone a few times but Bulls shot them right out of it.
