I wanted height with that pick but lets see what happens with 30 before we kill Isiah...

Nate at 21 is kinda high, but I like him a lot!!!!!

If we could snatch Taft/Simien/Gomes with #30, I'll be happy!

21. Pho - Nate Robinson, PG: Now we know why there was a delay in the Q. Richardson-Kurt Thomas deal. Nate Robinson is the Suns' pick, but he is headed to the Knicks eventually. He isn't a pure point, but he will electrify the Garden crowds at the very least. At 5-8, Robinson is a water bug of an athlete. He'll also allow Stephon Marbury to play off the ball a little bit. It's a very intriguing move by Isiah Thomas, who was an awful good small guard himself. And the Knicks get to keep Channing Frye, who is NOT included in the deal. Once again a source was "mostly correct." We'll take it, though. - 9:40 pm EDT

I dont think you guys are realizing what Isiahs doing here. If we pick up Blatche, Petro or god willing Taft at the 30, we will be stacked at every position for the next 5 years. Hes played this perfectly so far. If Chad doesnt give him an A tomorrow i will be dissapointed

So far I give Isiah a C-.

We now have the smallest backcourt in the NBA.

Q. Rich - 6'4"
J. Crawford - 6'5"
S. Marbury - 6'1"
N. Robinson - 5'9"

We're going to get murdered on the defensive end of things. You can't win without height in the NBA. This team is built to draw in fans, not to win.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

I like the Nate pick and I will love it if we can get a good big man prospect at 30 which could be Zeke's plan. We'll see what happens.

I like Nate but I'm suprised that Isiah didn't go with Jack considering what he bring to the table - DEFENSE. What do you think?

Q-rich is nearer 6'6", and plays moch bigger then that.

Also, he will spend alot of time at SF

Thirdly, Nate is a GREAT defender, even at 5'9"

I agree. If we were going with a guard, I'd rather go with a defensive one in Jack.

Petro, Taft, Blatche, Morris still available at 30. Interesting. Robinson will be a Garden favorite.

Big question now. At 30, do we go BPA, or hight? For example, if Monta Ellis is available, and Taft and Blatche are gone, do we take Petro, or Ellis, who has a chance to be a star in the league?

I don't get this, Nate is a very good defensive guard.

I like Taft, but if that the Euro kid Martynas (I know I butchering his name) is available we can put him in Europe for a couple of years.

You actually got it just right, and, to me he looks like another, skinnier Sundov. i.e. not enough skills and too weak to make an impact at C

I don't get this, Nate is a very good defensive guard.

Good defensive skills in a small body. He's a liability, because EVERY single guard in the NBA (excluding Boykins) will be able to shoot over him. His defensive skills are good, but his overall defensive ability is subpar because of his height problem.

Taft sucks. I'd take TMS with that pick over Taft. If we take Taft, I'd downgrading Isiah to a D.
