It is most certainly going to make a difference around election time and appears to be building lately. Her campaign is falling apart before our eyes lately.

Why did you include that tweet?

Was just a lighthearted joke. Old fan of Eastwood. Remember, he was a corruption cleaner upper. Sort of a fitting joke.

Yea but you know that wasn't Clint Eastwood who made the joke but a Twitter imposter, right?

It hadn't crossed my mind. I just thought it a funny statement for Eastwood to make, real or not.
It was not the brunt of my post, it was more like a sig...

Thanks for being honest. Makes me question your ability to discern the veracity of information you see on the internet and share with us. Just saying. You seem like a skeptical questioning guy. Not sure why you missed the lack of a verified check. Let alone, can you really imagine Eastwood tweeting at this ***** generation? Haha

Again, it was a joke and how could I be dishonest about something so remedial? Sort of on the level of a spelling mistake. Give that as much importance as you honestly see fit. btw - I don't think the Chuck Woolery post from twitter was verified either (as the identity wasn't the point.) Perhaps if this wasn't a basketball forum I wouldn't even include the jokes, but it is what it is.

Regarding this thread, I am wondering about why Comey came back out as he did. It just seems odd at face value. But the rumblings of those in the FBI who assisted and wanted a conviction (reported on) might have pushed his hand. At this point to Hillary, at least if it is not cleared up by election day, it might put Trump over the top. We have another week though, so...

And related, Trump is turning things around now and if he does get in, you can be sure Trump is going to go after Comey - in a very legal way as he has every reason to do so.
I mean look at the Senate/Congress grilling Comey. You generally don't talk that way to the head of the FBI and they went after him.

Who ever gets in as the next president, I just think there is going to be some cleaning house and if Trump gets in, I expect a lot of people to be going to prison as the corrupt writing is on the wall.

Michael Reagan, take that for what it is worth, is another who has said Comey has lost support in the FBI. (and mentions high level resignation are possible. Just conjecture, but something is brewing.)

I meant your honesty about it not crossing your mind whether the Eastwood account was an imposter, which was glaringly obvious to me and took two clicks for me to be certain. Point taken it was just a joke, but I was surprised you weren't more skeptical. What else could you be wrong about?!?

Carry on, sir...

The validity of the character playing Eastwood, made no difference to the joke. Nor did my prior Chuck Woolery joke from before, check that one? (Old host of the Dating Game if anyone doesn't know.)

Almost seems like I am now the center of attention and not Hillary, lol. Reminds me of the leaked emails Hillary "Hey, let's not look at the substance of this. It was the Russians. That is the enemy."

Bro, you missed the point. Or did you?

Regardless of who gets in as president, I hope we do clean house, to an extent anyway. At this point, no one likes Comey, so he is out but first I want to see a trial with all of the FBI agents who put together the case against Hillary, to see what they have to say. If leaks are any indication, that is why Comey did an about face. There is mutiny going on.

If the Comey situation is not "corrected", I think Trump gets in as this situations is building, not dissipating. There are a few interesting theories out there but I have a feeling by weeks end, we will have a few being covered, for as I said before, this is boiling over.

I thought if Trump got in, it would be a bit like throwing dynamite at a problem - chance it fixes it or doesn't. And if Hillary got in it would be more of the same old. But it looks like the dynamite has already been thrown.

Fake accounts are a pet peeve of mine. At least come up with a clever pun like Squint Beastwood. And we both know you thought it was really him but whatever.

Glad you are an ocean away from the blast site, huh?

Comey did the right thing. He could have waited but that would have been wrong if your simply voting for a party it won't determine anyone's stance. If your voting the individual that everything needs to be on record for the people to determine.

As far as Comey was caught in between a rock and a hard place. With McCabe and his wife on the take pressures coming from Lynch.

A conviction often helps.

My favorite is the Quid Pro Quo with the FBI,

Which didn't actually occur.

or perhaps it was the obvious murder, I mean suicide, of Vince Foster. (If not there are another 39 or so unfortunate death suicides to choose from.)

Here's a tip EMS, if your news sources has ominous background music, find better ones.

fishmike wrote:you have already come to that conclusion and eat up anything that supports it. I mean the Vince Foster thing is area 54. If I dont agree Im sheep driven by gov driven media. Its tired.

Of course she serves others. She takes lobby money. The question is will she serve us along the way? History shows a reasonable context that she will. She is not my candidate and doesnt represent the parts of her party that are most important to me, but she is nothing close to what Trump is. You are so focused on being right about her being crooked that have stopped looking at what this all actually means... and that is who will be a better POTUS and who will best serve the people of this country.

Guys -

How many deaths is Hillary responsible for? Iraq? Afghanistan? etc...

Most recently there is Libya, where she actually was one of the largest proponents of and our military commanders strongly were against it.
30,000 DEAD, another 50,000 injured and you want convictions?

Wait - why is Hillary responsible for deaths in Iraq and Afghanistan and Libya?

You really could have just googled that.
In 2002 she voted to invade Iraq while in the Senate.
She backed escalation in Afghanistan.

And maybe acknowledge the 30,000 deaths in Libya. We couldn't have done it without you Hillary.
And their world class water treatment plant destroyed as was the makings of their gold backed money - yeah, real money.

In a nutshell, she is one of our best advocates for war/destruction and droning in recent US History.

So, when people ask what is she going to do for America, have a guess...

She voted to invade Iraq? Why was invasion of Iraq up for vote again? Do you hold George W Dumb... and the whole neocon wing responsible for those deaths as well? To single out Hillary and blame this on her is beyond ridiculous.

And now she is responsible for Libyan killing each other? Are you for real?

So in your book if we go to war and people die it's her fault, if we don't go to war and people die is her fault. Got it.

Fukking scumbag is spewing hatred towards muslims and minorities everytime he opens his mouth, so when people ask what he is going to do for America have a guess

The Dems have to win the Senate. I don't think Republicans will ever let the balance of the SC switch if they control the Senate. It would be unprecedented but I think they will try to delay SC hearings for 4 years. I think they'll start investigating Hillary on day 1 and they'll say they have to wait for the investigations to end (which will never happen) before the hearings occur.

Predicting the future is a dangerous business but your premise is completely reasonable. The Senate holds the key going forward. If the neocons are allowed to control it we are screwed no matter who is president.

From 2002 about the cowardice and demise of the Democrattic party. Also about how they gave up on liberal ideals and got married to the banking sector. It has left voters like me permanently disenfranchised. They are corrupt to the core.

Yea but you know that wasn't Clint Eastwood who made the joke but a Twitter imposter, right?

It hadn't crossed my mind. I just thought it a funny statement for Eastwood to make, real or not.

Or did you?

Look at this conundrum of a Comey we have...

Pardon my Alinsky tactics to discredit you then. I see the Comey conundrum. Don't have much to say about it. Err, lock them all up?

Really, I can get the disliking of fake accounts but regarding a joke? I mean, in a way, that is, or at least could be the joke.

A couple of points regarding blast proximity. Yeah, I'm in Germany but if the USA and Russia have problems, I'm in the back yard.
I still have family in the States and to be honest, I see Planet Earth as my family (in large part my handle). All of this killing, corruption, etc. it has just gotten old.
I would love to come back to the States someday soon but really, I have to see what the next president does and how they do it.

Even if Trump does get in, we are between a rock and a hard place. The banking system has been on the fritz for years. The middle east will remain a hot bed.
Trump can be in, many Americans happy for change and then the economy can crash. Same if Hillary gets in.

If what Reagans son said before is true (and he is not the only one saying it), then there is a lot of friction in the FBI and they had more than enough to indict Hillary.
Judging by the emails we've seen, just those, it seemed a given, though some here would disagree.
Regardless, I think we'll see what comes of all of this by the election, probably by weeks end. She is bursting at the seems captain...

And regarding Lynch and Comey going against her, wow. Honestly, can you guys imagine what might be going on behind the scenes? Seems like a monumental power play going on.
It was just recently that Lynch refused to answer questions regarding 1.7 Billion in cash going to Iran. This is just strange all over.

so it's been proven that bernie lies about 28% of the time when he campaigned. it's been proven trump lies about 71% of the time during campaigning and in debates. hillary...27%.

ok...so if trump lies 71% of the time...which 29% of his message do you believe? and is that enough to vote for him to be president?

i mean 71% is a mental disorder. but having people not care about the 71% lies is a bit more disturbing.

dont want hillary...fine. but voting trump is just madness.

voting for trump is giving the ok for gov't to tell women what to do with their bodies and for gays rights to be limited. but who cares about them, right? as long as me and my white buddies get ours, we ok.

It's not about the "joke"... it's about your trustworthiness in gleening truth from the BS that permeates the Internet. I knew you thought that was really Clint. Got me thinking: are you that gullible?

Remember that other tweet you posted with the Woolery one? The one you said was "outrageous but probably true"? That wasn't a joke, that was a claim to a fact.

Why is it probably true? If you can't discern a fake account from a real one — even if it was just as a joke dig — how do you know that it is probably true?

Help me restore some faith in your Internet information gathering skills.

With statements like "proven", you should really include a link and I'd be curious about the "questions" they used to derive such statistics. Something tells me, this isn't exactly a deep study.

I don't think she had to lie to help kill over 30,000 people in Libya. But, those are the kinds of lies that we are not privy to - you know, the real meaningful ones.
I don't think she lied to do her part in an unjust and illegal war, that cost over 1,000,000 lives in Iraq.
We do know she lied about the emails. Do we give more credence to lies that break the law and are against national security, than those lies they likely measured in this poll?
Don't give credence to empty statistics.

I wonder if Hillary's regular decisions are just more dangerous than lies.

Looks like we might find out soon enough, breaking news:

I thought if Trump got in, it would be a bit like throwing dynamite at a problem - chance it fixes it or doesn't. And if Hillary got in it would be more of the same old. But it looks like the dynamite has already been thrown.

ps - Saul never crossed my mind, I saw the Eastwood things as more of a logical fallacy, sort of a red herring hominem. lol

Fake accounts are a pet peeve of mine. At least come up with a clever pun like Squint Beastwood. And we both know you thought it was really him but whatever.

Glad you are an ocean away from the blast site, huh?

We got a lot of fixing to do.

I'm gonna try my best KnickOfTime impression here, because I do have a bigger point. Holfresh got it, and I think it's important you get it.

No reason to lie. You're not concerned with my Internet information gathering skills.
Your deflecting guilt. Like I would tell KnickOfTime, "funny" you should mention him, make this less about me.
And if the best you can do is bring up a non verified joke, and then another joke that I brought up as not being verified (Woolery) as the basis of your uncertainty with me, perhaps it is my faith in your skills that are needed. lol

Last joke - (telling you it is not verified ahead of time). Really not a joke, more of a possibility:

Or did you?

Look at this conundrum of a Comey we have...

Pardon my Alinsky tactics to discredit you then. I see the Comey conundrum. Don't have much to say about it. Err, lock them all up?

Regardless of who gets in as president, I hope we do clean house, to an extent anyway. At this point, no one likes Comey, so he is out but first I want to see a trial with all of the FBI agents who put together the case against Hillary, to see what they have to say. If leaks are any indication, that is why Comey did an about face. There is mutiny going on.
