That was my sense too. But as I stated earlier he was the wrong guy for that anyway. Not a goo 3 shooter and off tonight plus he got a serious case of raisins for nuts. So it looked like a hot potato moment

Yall serious? Cade is not a 3pt shooter. You really think they drew up a play for him to take a 3? All the movement was used to create a distraction while their shooter ran to the wide open spot one pass away. How are yall not understanding this?

Also Thibs did call a great play. Its a ghost screen Ausar loses his balance bc he thinks Mikal is coming and Brunson crossed the **** out of him like he was Bryon Russell. Put rollerskates on him.

And why would you put the ball in. Cades hands if he wasn’t the first option? Knicks could have wrapped him up “if he’s not a shooter/ shooting” he’d get his 2 FTS and we get the ball back

All that said you could be right

The guy on Detroit that stepped up the most that series was Duren. He was supposed to be low Iq/empty stats, but he was a beast on both ends and he made his FT.

I think its obvious that was a pretty bad strat. Just because Beasley fumbled the open shot does not make that a good idea.

Josh Hart got obliterated ona drive with 3.50 minutes left and no foul then came back to get a defensive rebound. Hart played tough !!

Proud that they fought back and stepped it up defensively to close out! Despite the win it's hard to feel optimistic heading into the next series. Our offense needs an overhaul...does anyone think this type of offense will work much vs the Celts? Jrue Holiday is a very solid defender, they have D. White, JB, Tatum, Pritchard that all cover well.

If JB plays more pass first I think we have a possibility to overachieve.

Of course if he's really the second coming I guess we will be fine

Either way it will be fun to see KAT go head to head vs KP in the trailing 40 foot shooting contest!

We get it you don't like Thibs.

Watch the whole play. Bridges starts coming to screen and Tobias calls it out. As Bridges passes by Ausar peaks and starts to lean and Brunson begins his cross and Ausar is already on skates.

Its a well designed play, but you wanna talk about Cade's hot potato toss to Beasley
