Jaden McDaniels played well in that game too. He's a total X-Factor for them and he is really great defensively. He has that long/slender build that would have been useless in the old NBA with burly power forwards/post centered basketball. But now he is a 5 position defender who can stick a 3/finish in transition and is a glue player. Nextgen Tayshaun Prince...

He is a good player. He looks like an all-defense candidate. Rudy is clearly all defense. I honestly think Edwards might be too. The Wolves are scary. They have two big-time scorers and Mike Conley is the 4th best defender in the starting lineup

Minny seems to have the opposite problem that the Knicks have: Too many bigs who need minutes.

Gobert, KAT, Jaden, Naz with Leonard Miller in the wings. Maybe Jaden is a SF?

I'd list Jaden and Miller as combo forwards at this point, with three point shooting being Miller's biggest swing skill.
You could say the same thing for Josh Minott too. And don't forget Slo Mo'.

He is. We tried with Cam there but he did not want to submit to task of refining his game off the ball. Jayden mcdaniels at 6-10 is young and a good core player.
So why would Minny trade Kat other than it suits our potential starphuck fan dreams?

Edwards is a very good man to man defensive player and to me has to balance his energy output. He is a closer and to do that needs bounce in the 4th quarter and stay out of foul trouble. So he will take some plays off. All of them do that. Randle included.

Question: Realistically who is better?: Mitch or Rudy? If Rudy clogs things up with is lack of range, how is mitch different? Thus, how is KAT better here than in Minny? How would Randle make them better? Minny is built to "Win now" so picks are good, but what do they get NOW to help? Randle, IQ and Evan (cap fodder) Make them better? IQ as back up to the aging Conley? DDV steps in to IQ role for us.

That game vs. Boston KAT kind of lost his **** vs Bostons big. They won the game so it was not a deterrent.
As said, Kat stays this season unless they really are going now where by the trade deadline. New owners made a big commitmet to Rudy, Kat and GM Connelly (Equity stake) they woo'd away from Denver.

Mitch rebound #’s last 7 games — 13, 15, 7, 16, 16, 15 & 12.

What’s also interesting is only 2 blocks in last 5 so he may be staying home/down more often concentrating on the box out and boards.

Wonder if he learned anything going up against Bam who is more likely to hit you with his body and box out rather than chase blocks IMO.

In any event Mitch really doing work defensively/ rebounding

- Cam with big game for Lakers
- Towns 29/12 with 3 3’s
- Luka puts up 44 on Paper Clips and Leonard/George— Clips give up 144 and fall to 3-5 (don’t seem to be playing hard)
- Amazed at how well KD continues to move —- assumed he’d break down by now but he is moving so well
- I can’t help but think some of these older vets Lebron, KD are using some Bond’s like pharmaceuticals

Did Kareem, Wilt, Shaq, and Jordan? Malone also juice to gain longevity?
IS there a history or instances of basketball players getting caught? I recall reading baseball and football are power sports. Juicing does not help your skill it helps recover and gain power.

I think if Lebron is guilty, so are many others. Are we to insinuate that all guys over 35 that are achieving were juiced?

Ouch. Seems about right. He is empowered by his talent.

One thing most of us got wrong is how good philly is right now and that they have the path to add one more high end player with the assets and salary structure were we thought they were ****ed.

They roasted us pretty good, but the Clips and Dallas get brunt of it this episode.

This possibly bodes well for the price of re-signing Quick.
