Exactly. The same tactics that work as a coach may not work as well as an executive who is rarely around the team.

In fact, it seems to have the exact opposite effect.

Last game..Melo was 8-14 in the first half and his mates were 9-33..You blamed Melo and Rose...Rose was out for 4 games yet you still blamed both guys...And Rose only took 8 shots all game...

Melo looks far better on defense at the 4. Even guarding a guy like Blake Griffin... it's not about "effort"... it's about putting your guys in position to succeed!

The Knicks need two WINGS on the floor to defend. The problem is we only really have two wings on the team period. During the Knicks really good years with Melo they had Shump, JR, Timmy Jr.
