Biggest key for me was Rambis not playing Sasha even for a second in the 4th. Fisher would have put him back in most likely. You just can't play Jose and Sasha together.

We don't know that so IMO it's not really cool to suggest Fish "would've" done something to lose the game. This is a kind of lame Knick fan thing to do. We should just be happy that the players came thru and won the game. Stop all this Fish hater-ade stuff.

I'm going to be nicer to Fish too but I'm still glad he got thrown out.

It's funny, reading some of this thread after the fact.

Rambis' minor changes in the lineup just shows you how far Fisher still has to go as a coach...

I think trying to call my fandom into question here is the lame Knick fan thing to do.

Um no he is. Saying Fisher would have most likely put Sasha back in is not the same as saying he would have definitely put Sasha back in. He has played Sasha and Jose together - in crunch time - in the past games (small sample size, I know) so why is it a far-fetched guess? Not an absolute certainty, but a guess?
Let me ask you, do you disagree that playing Jose and Sasha together in the back court is somewhat of a hindrance?

I think that Gallo and Grant have made great progression, and that speaks to the role and positions they are in. Also, the AA injury puts a kink into everything.

One of Sasha, Jose have sat big minutes and/or have not finished games. That speaks a lot the coaching thinking.

It's a process.

And nix didn't call our your fandom, he called out your opinion on sub patterns. Big difference. Show me all the games where Jose/Sasha dominated the 4th quarter.

Which is what I'm clamoring for. I know we have injuries. I just don't think Sasha and Jose should be in the back court together. How is me criticizing that being a lame Knicks fan? Maybe you can tell me.

Show me all the games where Jose/Sasha dominated the 4th quarter.

I don't recall ever saying anything about them dominating the 4th quarter.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure we have NOT seen a whole lot of Calderon and Sasha together in crunch time. Usually it's Gallo in place of one of those two.

Rambis not putting Sasha back in the game had nothing to do with the win .. Calderon having the best game as a Knick vs the Lakers slow rookie D'Angelo Russel had a lot to do with Rambis coaching.
It was Galloway 3 that gave the Knicks the lead with a minute left in the game .. we are discussing a win over a 1-5 Lakers team.
