Mundiay and Russell are busts after 4-5 games?

We all know PG is the toughest position for rookies to grow into, as well as for 19 year olds.
I get was are giddy with the early returns from KP really?
Scott should just back up Russell and if one has to say anything about Mundiay why not just say something nice or neutral?

I don't think OKAfor was a stretch for anyone, but it was a matter of his ceiling. In my opinion Phil had Townes as his no. one and then KP maybe at no. 2? Was Russell even in the mix? Phil likes Big's and PG has never been a priority. Just guessing.

After 4 games, Im happy. KP don't move like a guy 8 feet tall!!!!

I am worried about Russell's lack of athleticism, but who knows, Steph Curry was slow to start, from memory.
Mudiay, I think he can be a great great PG. Can't believe the Lakers thought he wasn't a true PG. The guy can't shoot, if nothing else, he is a distributor.
His TO's will come down for sure. He is oozing with talent. I like KP over him but I wouldn't have been unhappy with Mudiay.

I was worried about Okafor's defense, and still am. He sure can score most of the time though.

KP can be very very special. I hate to say what that is, but we have all seen this skinny 8 footer do things that are just shocking for a rookie.
I do think we might have gotten the best or 2nd best player in the draft. Towns might be great but KP will break the mold, or rather create a new one imo.

Yes, it is a well established fact on these boards that conclusive judgements can and will be made after a few Summer League games, with the first 3 games of the regular season providing cast iron proof that these judgements were correct.

I like this line a lot and its been my theme when I broadcast about KP's height.
One has to drool over the potential of this kid and it only gets better!

The putback over Aldridge was massive! I mean to do that and not foul?
You see that kid on ATL whos 7-3? Kid has no skill. Javale McGee gets many passes for his height and potential. KP Smooth shot, quick enough feet to block shots without jumping and rebounding tenacity is very exciting.

We tend to compare new players to existing ones. Of course white guys can only be compared to other white guys!!! The only guy I ever saw who could compare To KP was 3 time college player of the year and HOF Ralph Sampson who should never had been allowed to be parked in the post! Dude was too skinny. Ralph had injury problems but the raw talent was beyond KP. My point is Ralph had many skills but at that height he was labeled a center. KP appears to have a much bigger frame and will likely trade finesse for some power as he develops.

Some bad calls down the stretch favored the Warrior...But they essentially played even..West is just going to be nuts this year..Not sure about Doc's lineups down the stretch and Not going to Blake in big spots..Doc won chips so I will defer to his knowledge..Two very good teams tho..Adjustmenst will be made..

EnySpree: Can we agree to agree not to mention Phil Jackson and triangle for the rest of our lives?

I am sure that Hoiberg would like them to play good defense as well he just wont ride them to the ground with it like Thibs.

Starting Merotic over a healthy Noah tells you all you need to know..
