I guess there is a reason why silverfuel, hardcoreknicksfan, marv, djsunyc, evil, killa4luv, Panos, VDesai, 95buick, Allanfan20, knicksdom, nyk4ever, solace and a countless other guys i forgot to mention don't post here any more....and there is a reason why that group of guys made it to hangout and become good friends in real life.

I do miss the old posters, and I'm not really sure I enjoy these boards as much as I used to (a lot less warm, friendly and funny), but unfortunately this is the state of the internet these days- go to any message board for anything you like and you'll find the people who post the most are the ones blasting the s*** out of everything about it. If it's not being done in a funny way, or it's just done over and over again, I just feel drained reading it- it ain't a pleasant experience.

I've started using the ignore feature- didn't used to believe in it, but now I use it, and then, depending on whether I feel up to it I can choose whether I can be arsed to read some peoples posts.

It has nothing to do with the fact the knicks continue to suck all these years later?

I get that we're all fed up and irritable, because the last decade has been mainly s***- and I find it funny when people are funny with their criticisms and feelings of doom , but when it's just done seriously, over and over again, and anything else is poo-pooed, it's just not enjoyable to read. It's boring enough when things are dire with the Knicks, without us all talking about it in a boring way.

Do I think Splat should be banned? There is hope for him- I take issue when he crosses the line and starts projecting stuff onto others, or starts calling people idiots because they don't agree with him. If he can keep that in check then there's no reason really to ban him.

I also get where EnySpree is coming from though- I think he's just fed up of reading posts by people who seemingly hate everything about the team and want them to fail- like I said, that kind of monotone is draining on top of all the losing.

Well, to be fair to me (if I may say so), my aggression mostly takes the form of teasing most of the time. There are some whose only contribution is attacking other posters. Literally, that's all they do.

Hello person who was busy attacking me this week, um, this thread was started to ban me and you have the gumption to say I'm obsessed with hater police?

Hater police are the ones who have shown the greatest inability to work things out. This is their chance or is it so presumptuous of me to think people are capable of hashing things out?

I didn't even get a chance to lighten up the thread because everyone is quick to jump on a sword for this jackass.

And fishmike didn't cosign the thread. He said it was a bad idea and I should take the lose and walk away. Blkexec said the same.

I don't give a **** actually that's why I started the thread, but like I said I couldn't even turn it into something light because of the socialist revolution that took place in here.

So now you're doing what you did earlier in the season. When people don't conform to your expectations and you don't get your way, you get even more juvenile and start flipping off the whole board. That's what you do. It is to be expected at this point.
