Breen is one of the worst commentators in all of television, he never defends his own team... ever. He is clueless, makes me think of what GW Bush would be like if he was a sports commentator.

Nixluva is posting triangle screen grabs, even when nobody asks - Fishmike. LOL So are we going to reference that thread like the bible now? "The thread of Wroten Page 14 post 9" - EnySpree

Never seen Amar'e look and sound so pissed off as he did in the post game interview- basically calling out Melo repeatedly (No ball movement, only one or two people taking all the shots etc). True, but then he's just as selfish with the ball these days.

Never really noticed until today how Amar'e has completely relinquished any leadership role with this team. He used to be the alpha dog, nowadays he just seems to be hanging out with the team waiting for his knees to break- it's been really sad witnessing his decline in all facets.

I caught bits and pieces of JR's but he was talking about Melo needing to get shots within the flow of the offense as well
Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

Breen's a typical NY media type. Homerism is equated with eating Dolan's feces. Far from clueless, he's just purely anti-Knick. Clueless is the retired John Andriese. That's clueless. Dubya was a homer. Obama, on the other hand, would make a great Knick announcer.

On the other hand, listen to a Net's broadcast on WFAN or WCBS. They shake the pom poms for Brooklyn like it's the 60's Celtics. Great if you're a Nets fan.

Funny Amar'e is the biggest ballhog on the team. When he catches the ball in the post 95% of the time it seems to be a turnover, a forced shot, or an emasculating block. The way Amar'e looks he doesn't deserve more shots, especially not if we're rewarding players for defense. People get excited when Stat dunks in a game and think he's back or something, but he's not really scoring at all against set defenses, it's really only during offensive breakdowns or transition.

The person that deserved more shots is Bargs, he's much better than Amar'e at this point.

So Amare and Bargnani should be shutout from the offense completely while Melo shoots every shot?

That's what I saw. Amare was open for a jumper on many occasions instead the players continually by passed him. Melo is Melo Mr. Tunnel vision. This team isn't well coached they do what they want on the court. They aren't playing for one another, some are playing to get their share. It was funny to watch Hardaway Jr jack up shots and Martin getting on him. When do people get on Melo or JR Smith for the same.

the main thing i saw is melo's body language. it was awful-- he was giving off an ugly vibe.

i wonder if we will get more of the same tonight. if it turns into rout then it is official: IMPLOSION

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

good point. but you see guys like carmelo, jr smith and most likely kenyon believe in "paying your dues".. doesn't matter if THJ is shooting 90% he hasn't "paid his dues" pretty similar to the issue he had with jeremy lin.

it is really pathetic....

That third shot attempt that Melo took he completely ignored the team and went into hero ball mode. The Knicks before that attempt had easy opportunities at will but for some reason Melo was being Melo. I got to get mine mode.

A good alternative- still can't believe it's got to season 9! I was worried it was ending back at season 5!

I'm on season 6. Still playing catch up. Season 5 was awesome.

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.
