He's a solid catch and shoot player who won't have to stand and hold the ball and dribble just to get a shot off. That's gonna help this team be more successful since we already have Melo who wants to ISO every time he gets the ball. We needed more guys that can play within a team concept. He's not the spectacular move, but I think he'll fit into what we do already. I think he'll do just enough of the dribble to be effective. I don't think we need him to constantly look to try and create. I'd prefer we add a drive and kick PG to set up our shooters and have our SG in motion coming off screens so he gets great open looks rather than always going up against a set defense trying to create tougher shots.

Nixluva we got a 2nd round talent here a guy we couldve found in the D league. I wouldve rather had the 7 foot Muscala any of the PGs Mitchell Ledo this was a fair pick at best. Maybe well get lucky and trade it.

Briggs, I have a feeling that by the time Muscala develops into a player, we'll have had at least two opportunities to grab him off the scrap heap.

how could we not trade for a 2nd rounder?
fishmike 9/27/2024 11:00 PM Ug I hate this. The idea of Towns is great until you see what a pussy he is. Jules is a dog. DD was a flamethrower locked up cheap for 3 more years. First Leon move I hate

Arsalan Kazemi? If anyone cares that was originally our 2nd rounder.

now that the draft is over...lets invite myck kabongo to summer league
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

The Hawks Traded Shane Larkin to the Mavs to get Msucala/Nogueira/Jarred Cunningham

All we draft is Tim Hardaway Jr.

Hawks got Ledo too.

I guess I have a reason to watch the Hawks now.

Not a bad idea. I thought he was a better prospect than Shane Larkin at the start of the season. He got bad advice coming out this year, but the dude has talent. Kinda reminds of Rod Strickland.

Doesnt matter--the NY Knicks are 5th best team in this conference with virtually no chance to get out of round 1.... and no picks for the next 3 years.

Basically this, although they can sneak into the 2nd round.

Yep this was a weird draft. There will still be multiple undrafted players making the NBA. The guy who must be shocked the worst is Leslie. He wouldve been a 1st round pick if he came HS to pros goes to school for 3 years and does not get drafted. Elias Harris Carmichael Mbwake etc....... a bunch of guys

Yeah and also Leslie who was one of the most athletic guys in the draft. Usually the guys left are flawed or were definite second round picks. Not sure why CJ Leslie wasn't drafted.
