Yea, right, when you can no longer harp all over Melo as gunsewing (attempted) to do during his original post of this thread, why not derail and/or go off topic while completely ignoring the facts? Remember this post below...
gunsnewing wrote:Remember what he said on media day? Then why must Amare come off the bench. Only to protect Melo's 29pts scoring avg? Really bad trend of Melo going for 20+ on 25+ shots lately.
How about starting Amare and having Melo honor his word about not caring if he scores less this season but getting Amare involved? Melo is struggling. Instead of forcing 25 footers on triple teams how about moving the ball?
Or how about just starting Amare and bringing Melo off the bench until he gets out of his shooting slump
Starting Melo at the 4 with Shump at 3 is not the answer Woodson is getting a little too cavalier with the starting lineups geared toward's protect Melo's 29pt avg.
Start Tyson, Amare, Melo, Shump and Felton or keep floundering on both ends to start games. Have Kurt backup Tyson for now.
Can't be losing to Sacremento and Philly if you plan on finishing with a top 2 seed.
Enough is enough.
Now back to the topic at hand.
"Remember Before the Season Melo Said He Would Do What it Takes To Win"?
Well, guess what? Our Knicks have now gone 28-11 during games in which Melo has played. A winning percentage of .718% to be exact.
Yea, right, "bench Carmelo Anthony" and/or "coach Woodson's protecting Melo's scoring average".
28-11 during Melo's 39 games (winning percentage of .718%) says otherwise.
