True, but MANY of his turnovers have been just careless out of focus turnovers. He needs to cut them urgently.

well if you are double teamed and your players dont come to the ball its gonna create turnovers it happens

Lin is trying hard, but they are taking the ball right out of his hands as if he's a highschooler. Needs to add more strenght in the off season and learn to put his body between the ball more. He's a smart kid, he'll figure it out.

Lin will be ok. He's gonna go look at film right now and see how shook he was. Lin will be ok but he better play his game, not what the Heat is letting him play. I hope the Knick fanS at the game starting cheering just to piss off Lefraud and his bitches..

Dude, throw out the kool aid for a second, there is a reason why Lin is -11 and has more turnovers than points and assists. Lin is human, he was due for a bad game. I believe it has to do with the hype of the opposing team, but either way, he has to get his act together or sit.

Turnovers are the Achilles's heel of this entire team. First half wasn't kind to us in that regards, but it does leave us room to improve for round 2.

Hopefully we don't bend over in the 3rd, like I've seen a few too many times.

the heat are getting all the calls and we had a bad half and we are only down by 4. Once we get it all together the heat will be in for it

Ugly first half for Lin, but it is against the best team in the NBA committing it's defense resources to him so you'd expect that from a young player. That alone is opening up one on one opportunities for everyone else. This is what Lin needs to adjust to in order to truly become a great player. Baron Davis is playing better, but that's because Davis has a lot more experience.

The upside to this is that the team is playing with great defensive effort, hustle and they're hanging in there against Miami only down four. Amar'e is really carrying the scoring load in a way like he did last season and if it's going to be him against Bosh 1-on-1, that should continue.

One thing I especially like here is the team having Fields run the Pick and Roll when Lin's trapped. The defense is so focused on Lin that it's letting Fields slash right to the basket.

ya most of the fans bashing him are melo fans who feel melo has been wronged i guess. this is lins first game against the heat and he is a smart kid he will figure it out. also lin has been carrying this team for the past month
