This is where the staff has to show Lin in film sessions and practice what is the smart play in those situations. Dude has been a starting NBA PG for about a minute. We've got to remember that Lin is virtually a rookie in terms of his NBA experience. He practically has none. What I do like is that he's a smart kid and is willing to learn and accepts his mistakes. It would help if he had someone to back him up too. I'm pulling for Baron to get healthy cuz his experience would really be a good thing for Lin and the team.

Lin has to know he isn't the first or second option on this team...I hope he isn't believing the hype...BD get healthy soon..

Trust me he knows he isn't the 1st or 2nd option but last night no one was making their shots so he had to score.

Amare was making shots and was the best player on the court..When the game is on the line as a PG, when you cross half court you look for your beat player, you don't wave him off..

Amare scored but i wouldn't say he had a great game. he didn't defend well and he missed some easy shots and let passes go that would have been easy. Lin had a bad game but he didn't have any help. This was a bad loss becasue evemm with them playing so bad they still should have won

He didn't have any help???....Amare scored 26 points 12 reb despite not touching the ball on the offensive end the last 4 mins of the game...

Amare's D was lacking but at least his jumper was money. I think they could have milked him somemore.

I doubt Amare's defensive play was the problem last night...

when we have Amare, melo, chandler, JR and Lin on the floor, that's not a very good defensive team unfortunately. the only one who's playing D with that lineup is Chandler.

I think Lin, Melo OK team defenders. I thought JR was solid (am I wrong?)

Lin still needs to work on his D and Melo plays defense only when he wants to. JR Richards? puhaha

I think JR is just like Melo in that he requires some motivation to play defense. But Amare still is easily the worst defender in our rotation.
