The Nets really scared me for a while...Lin was phenomenal there should not be a doubt in D'Antoni's mind in regars of who starts at PG against the Jazz. Anyway I hate when Melo has games like the one he had 3 for 14 thats trash!

There was no need for any play to start of with a ISO when you can just run a good set and get easy open shots. I'm not getting on Melo. I love Melo. I'm talking logically about TEAM BB.

Then don't trade half the team for him...That's a real expensive decoy...

Agreed

Damn you boys love living in the past. The trade is done and over with. Get over it, move on and enjoy tonight's win.

i do enjoy the win. But i have hated the season and the trade which you say "living in the past" has kicked our ass for a year now so we have every right to complain

I don't think anyone one of us has enjoyed this season but the season isn't over. Still alot of time left to make this season enjoyable. Crying over the trade is way old already.

yep I'm ok with MDA finishing the year over Woodson as long as he plays Lin

Talking to you guys is crazy. The way you're reacting to a rather minor comment is ridiculous. Melo doesn't HAVE to go ISO at the beginning of a play. I'm not saying Melo can't go ISO, but when you're shot is off and the team is struggling, why not stick to the offense and move the ball and get a great shot rather than a forced shot. I don't care what you guys think. I know my BB and I know i'm not wrong on this. Melo can get his shot at any time, but he'll never be wrong playing within the offense.

Any PG that has the kind of game that Lin has will be successful on the Knicks. The reason is teams can't focus solely on him. they have to respect STAT and Melo and Tyson and Lin is the only PG to have taken full advantage of that fact. Imagine if STAT and Melo weren't exhausted?

Yeah Melo had a crap game but 3 in a row is tough. Lin bailed us out big time.

I think Chandler has something to do with it.

Mike Dantoni doesn't deserve a PG, because he failed miserably in keeping the team respectable without one while having two perennial all stars.

The point is Lin proved us right for blaming D'Antoni for playing TD.

IMO he brought Lin along at a good pace and allowed him to get comfortable and build his confidence. Who's to say he gets played early before he's ready and has a bad game and loses confidence or the team loses confidence in him. This was a perfect climb that LIN EARNED by his taking advantage of his opportunities.

GREAT win! Yes it was against NJ, but not only was it the tail end of a back-to-back-to-back, after two hard-fought, difficult losses to two very good teams, I almost expected to see a deflated team lay an egg on their home court.

And I won't even say anything about Lin. His play spoke well enough for itself.

(And now I can put the Knicks on pause feeling good, and turn to the Giants. Go NY!)

Please bless us with more of your brilliance, o wise one. Yes, people should not have been complaining about MDA not playing Lin this whole time. Of course not. And why not o wise one? Oh , its because he played him more than anyone this game. Oh, yes, thank you so much, it all finally makes sense. You contributions to the board are invaluable, how else would we know that "people" should not complain about Lin not getting playing time? You tell all those "people" !!!!

See how with a real PG we win despite Melo going 3-15 11pts. Have to get others involved play as a team!
