Usually if a guy gains 20 lbs, and if it's in strength and muscle gains, the added weight is offset by the added strength. I don't know where or how he added 20 lbs, but obviously he did not experience a corresponding gain in strength, which is unfortunate.

This only translates if you are a skinny mofo to begin with. If you are already big and you get bigger like that especially when your natural weight is 240....I don't care what it is you are going to be slower. He's a NBA basketball player not a NFL linebacker. He needs to be nimble and be able to jump.....Amare has no post game. If he played below the rim it makes sense. If he had a post game with that body he woulf own. He showed on that drive today on Big baby Davis he still can throw it down. If he had a post up game he could be unstoppable and the best down low threat in the entire league, He would be the best in the paint player. But he doesnt post up.

Edit: such a waste of talent. Imagine him on the low block dancing around and throwing it down.

Loved seeing the leadership by Carmelo playing today despite the injuries. Good effort by the Knicks, but what the hell happened?! They outplayed the Magic for the better part of the game and then let the game slip away. They need to close out games! The need for a point guard is becoming more and more apparent. 3 more home games this week! LET'S GO KNICKS!!

welcome to the last decade. JJ did OK defensively. Same with Jorts I think.

As much as I have railed on TD he seems to have gotten close to his own play from last year for stretches there. Getting to the paint and dishing.
