Congratulations to Jamal Crawford who hit clutch free throws in the end of this game to seal the Magic's fate.

If Hinrich is done, you can just advance the Bulls to the ECF's right now.

Many were advancing the Magic up to the last seconds of tonight's game.
One bad hit to Rose & the Bulls become very ordinary.

as we saw in the indy series, the dude is tough enough that even one bad hit doesn't take him out. was in a walking boot the day before the game and not once did he even mention not playing (unlike STAT, who milked the back thing, just saying...)

one bad hit to kobe and the lakers are very ordinary. same with OKC and durant.

i don't think ATL wins more than a game. chicago's in the ECF.

sir charles said the hawks had zero chance after the last game...

he and greg anthony sounded like they wanted to kill each other after greg was trying to say the hawks could still win the series...

Forum Po Po and #33 for a reason...

Lakers/Mavs set. Dallas is the only team that's left that has a shot at dethroning the champs, IMHO.

thunder in the conference finals will be a harder test for LAL than dallas. durant & westbrook > dirk & jet.

stacked? i don't see it. the dallas front line is going to get abused by pau/bynum/the goods. it's basically ty chandler and brenda haywood. perkins/ibaka/mohammed/collison will be a lot more of a challenge.

lakers only real weakness is defending a superquick PG (as seen by Cp3 early in this series). i don't see kidd or terry torching them -- JJ barea in spurts but he is not going to take a game over.

lakers in 5.

PS this is the first time kobe and dirk have squared off in the playoffs. pretty crazy considering both have been in the playoffs regularly for the last decade.

I predict Cuban will go on at least 1 tirade against the refs in this series.

Chris Paul sounds very pleased with New Orleans. It wouldn't surprise me if he signed an extension as soon as the CBA is agreed to.

Whether Chris Paul remains with the New Orleans Hornets after next season, when he can opt out of his contract and pursue free agency, is not certain.

However, the Hornets did not hurt their chances of keeping him around long-term after extending the two-time defending Los Angeles Lakers to six games in the opening Western Conference playoff series before losing 98-80 at the New Orleans Arena.

After the game, Paul said he saw a positive sign, teammates showing disappointment instead of satisfaction for extending the series when most predicted a Lakers sweep.

“They are most definitely serious about winning,’’ Paul said. “Guys were devastated, and that’s one thing you always look for.’’ ...

Paul said first-year coach Monty Williams was exceptional with preparation. Paul also commended the numerous personnel moves by General Manager Dell Demps that improved the roster and helped the Hornets earned the first playoff berth since 2009

But will the team still BE in New Orleans? Don't forget the league owns that team now and that's usually leads to them selling it to someone that's going to skip town.

Pretty sad how even a first year head coach prepares his players better than Mike Antoni.
