The length of Bynum and Gasol along with Artest thuggery did us in. We also missed Gallo's rebounding and defense. Shawne Williams got exposed a little. The open 3s did not happen for Shawne as they closed him out pretty good. Gallo would have feasted in the lane if they keep closing out 3 point shooters like that.
I agree with everything you said except the Gallos rebounding part.
one thing I do notice is that gallo at least boxes out.. if anything, it keeps another body off the boards.. lakers had 3 guys with 10 or more boards...
yup. Gallo is a very good rebounder. He is very fundamentally sound.
I always thought Gallo as an average rebounder. Not strong enough but capable.
I think Gallo is a sneaky rebounder. He is one of those all of a sudden he has 7-8 boards for the game. He boxes out a lot and lets his teammates collect the board. Why do you think Fields and Chandler gets a lot of those sweeping rebounds? Somebody must be boxing out the opponents for them to collect these rebounds.
