of course, gallo and felton were vital, but the person we expect to lead us wasn't taken aback by a young player's big game.

you do what you can do as well, to your strengths, to keep the oppositions' confidence at bay.

amar'e's performance wasn't just about being a showman, it seemed to fit into what i believe a leader of a team does.

you don't back down, you uplift your team's confidence in the face of challenges, and keep working hard.

yes, defensively, he wasn't his best, but to me i am very happy this cat is a knick.

Best player to wear a knick jersey since ewing.

Nuff said.

Hands down......... Gallo is best pick drafted by Knicks since Ewing as well!

until Gallo makes an allstar team, that honor belongs to David Lee.

no it won't... that's because Melo's a better player... & that's not hate, it's reality.

No problem for me- I'll take an opponent getting the highlights if we get the W.

At some point, if we continue to win, we'll get the media attention we deserve.

Mark Jackson still has my vote....Led us to the playoffs and I'll never forget game 2, 1989 at the garden, vs Philly when he single handedly led us to a come back victory..

Griffen is the best young player I have seen in a long time. He's a mix of Amare's nastiness and Duncan's skills. I think he's the best player drafted since Lebron. I know it early, but if I have to pick a young player to start a team with this guy is top 3 for sure. My god. The only thing cooler than watching him beast was the fact that Amare MATCHED him. Some of those slams in traffic by Amare were equally awesome. Only problem is he's been doing it for a few years now I guess

what do you guys think... Griffen about 1 year away from a major knee explosion? dude seems like a lock for at least 1 microfracture surgery. I don't wish it upon him but the stress on his joints must be unreal.

not sure I agree with that fish... his skills are nowhere near.. he is an athletic freak, but kind of rumbles around like a bull in a china shop...

I dunno, he showed more than dunking last night. Turnaround bank shots, post play, swishing contested 15 footers...all that with a really impressive motor and a knack for rebounding that we only wish Amare had.

His biggest negative right now is that his defense is awful, but a lot of that is just rookie mistakes (ie. jumping off his feet when trying to contest Gallo).

Griffin was really impressive...imo, he's going to be the best big man out west soon.

Griffin is so graceful and yet powerful. He's a rare mix of power and agility, finesse and explosiveness. Guys his size just shouldn't be able to do what he does. He's skilled too! All his shots looked pure.

I posted somewhere else he wont last long if he keeps this up. But for the sake of basketball I hope he stays healthy for a long time to come.

TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

it gets annoying to me... ESPN is so anti-NY it's ridiculous.

I think this is where Amare is huge. He really seems to lean on this team and push the young guys. Losing is unacceptable. You know Felton will come out playing full speed and I expect to really see him bring it on defense.

Charlotte has been a good defensive team, or at least they have a style that keeps the score down. It will be interesting to see how they deal with our high flying offense.

The Felton/Augustin match-up should also be interesting to watch, and Gallo will be facing a very good defender in Wallace.

I'm apprehensive about this game.
