if he got a pick back in the nate trade, this is basically like trading one pick to dump $7M off the books. and take a look at a MUCH improved PG.

He didn't get a pick back in the Nate trade.

The trade is...

Marc Stein just reported that three-way deal with Knicks is done -- TMac to Knicks, Hughes to Sac, Jeffries to Hou with 2012 first and right to swap in 2011. Landry, Dorsey to Sac, Martin to Hou, no word on Sergio. Looks like Hill stays in NY.

I will wait to rejoice until this is official and I know EFFRIES is gone and hopefully HILL as well.

But for the record, Childs2Dudley (GKF), Juice (bluest is that you?) and Anubis (Optimus) --- have been saying no trade will happen for days now in every deadline thread saying trade dead, walsh sucks, etc.

Kinda of ridiculous but they've been at it for days. Just step over the comments.

I'm really disappointed that Walsh traded future draft picks. More of the same.

You're disappointing you can't troll that he couldn't swing a trade to get us cap space.

But you're happy you can troll about two meaningingless picks. Actually ONE, because the other is a swap.

Please....find a hobby Optimus. No Knick fan just bashes everything the team does and doesn't do regardless of any outcome from such. The act is old bro.

We all are. But we gotta have faith at this point. I'm going thru enough drama in my life. I'm just hoping for the best at this point. I want to look at this as half-full with a lot of potential

I don't think he had a choice. He did keep Hill and get Sergio which was much more reasonable than what was originally asked for. Whats up with Mike's boy Al?

If the picks aren't protected it's not a good trade but accomplishes what was most wanted Effries to be exodused.

I never said a trade wouldn't get done. I said our GM is too slow at what he does.

I don't like giving up the picks, but if we kept Hill and got Sergio, then it makes me feel a little more at ease about it.

Who is bashing we just traded two picks. I did not expect Walsh to mortgage the future.

I would have preferred moving Hill but as I said neither team has any use for him. I didnt mind losing Hill because we could just keep Lee.
