The bigger they are, the harder they fall. The Knicks dump the Celts. Now you've seen it all.

LMAO!!! You are right, I put some blame on Al Harrington for not playing team defense and that definitely means I don't know the game of basketball.

s3231 keeps saying Harrington should have slid over but he would have to be Carl Lewis to pick up KG....David Lee had no business where he was....that can't be explained....can't say that he was trying stop pierce.

also in the post game interview Lee mentions they had a foul to give suggesting again he is deflecting the responsibility of guarding his man by saying the guy guarding pierce should have fouled....

yeah Curry admitted it was his fault...I don't think so but he is a man and he excepted it....fine.

D'antoni said they wanted to foul pierce....so that was on the dude that was guarding Pierce...fine.

Harrington should have left his assignment and ran 30ft to cover KG....fine.

but David Lee should have said he lost his man...and accepted some blame...he didn't. he absolutely didn't

Don't you think Danphoney would have him in the game at crunch time if he thought he was ready?

I like D'Antoni a lot but I have no clue what he is trying to accomplish sometimes.

Often, he doesn't play Gallo during most of crunch time and then he brings him in on the last play to spread the floor.

I have a better idea, why not use one of our best weapons during the 4th quarter instead of falling behind and trying to come back every game? I think D'Antoni is trying to protect the kid but honestly, a few more wins would help this franchise a ton right now.

I was being sarcastic TMS, he should have been in the game PERIOD!
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Yeah because Lee is not one to take responsibility...

We need to come out and play better, myself included, because I don't want to go through this again.

Lol, Lee just said the other day that the players should be blamed for the 1-9 start. I don't see how you and Eny are calling Lee out for not taking responsibility when he has repeatedly been one of the few guys on our team to do so.

But what do I know?

Maybe I should root for idiots that chuck up bad shots instead.

I actually do think Harrington had a strong game which is why I don't blame him for the loss (but I do partly blame him for that last play). But maybe I shouldn't expect my players to help out with the team defense....that might be too much to ask for from these millionaires.

I think you guys just have a thing against Lee for some reason, which is perfectly fine. I don't love the guy or hate him. I just don't understand how any objective fan can blame David Lee for this loss when there were so many other problems.

Eddy Curry said it was him...he took that blame. Now I think Eddy is the biggest ***** ever...but I am willing to give guys a chance to prove themselves again. Eddy said you know what...I apologize to the team, coaches, and fans for the loss and like You said he was taken out with 5 minutes left and never came back.

Lee knew KG was his man....he should have said that was his man and he takes the blame.....no he deflects and says "we need to come out and play better, myself included..." No....he needs to say this is my team....this is the place i want to rape for 10 million a year over 6 seasons....this is my team....KG is my man..he was wide open...that was my fault!!!!

if you don't see that and wanna defend Lee then you are just a lost soul.

Go back to my previous posts.

I have repeatedly said that I place some blame on Lee on that last play. Yet, you guys keep saying that I'm defending my "golden boy." I'm not the one putting words in anyone's mouth here.

The only thing I said is that it is wrong to blame the game on Lee when he actually had a good game for us. And I also said Harrington had a strong overall game.

But whatever, I'm not going to waste anymore time talking about stupid things like this. We lost because of a lot of reasons and neither Lee nor Harrington were among the main reasons why we lost this game.

I don't think it is right to call Lee out for not taking responsibility on that last play when he has done so all season. That is all I'm saying, but if you guys want to believe that, then go ahead.

Perhaps the Knicks should be subbing out Lee in defensive situations like they sub out Gallo. Too bad Jefferies was in a suit.
Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

i'm watching the game on DVR now & it seems like they have Wilson Chandler guarding Kendrick Perkins down low in the paint & D Lee is checking KG on the perimeter... at least in the 1st quarter that is

I don't wanna waste time either....s3231

I'm jacked up cuz you are saying Harrington should have rotated from 30ft away...cuz you want you guys to be smart enough to know that. Im jacked up that the basic point of defense is knowing where your man is. Where was David's man? That's my beef......all the other stuff you are saying in defense of yes...the golden boy.....is bull**** point blank.

I call him the golden boy cuz he gets a pass cuz he had a good game. This is his fault. Not the building maintenance for making it too cold in the arena. Or the fact kg stayed at a holiday express.

Fact is.....who is David guarding? End of story for me.

Nah, it was good to see Jordan Hill take those minutes and show him what he's got to offer.
