In fairness, this isn't necessarily a flop of a pick, but I think it's too risky and a bit of a reach. If Bayless hadn't fallen, I wouldn't be as down about this one. But c'mon. I hope this isn't another case of a promise that they refused to go back on.

On the other hand, isn't it refreshing that the Knicks didn't succumb to the win now/starphuch type of move and stuck to their guns and took a guy that was an obvious tough sell b/c they liked his upside that much?

No. They did this already. They drafted Channing Frye and that was a bust. They drafted Renaldo Balkman and that was a bust. You might even argue Mardy Collins, Wilson Chandler, Nate Robinson. The Knicks always go for picks that are hard sells at those positions. What would've been refreshing would've been to have a single starting position solidified for 10 years. We still don't have that, even with the #6 pick in that draft. That's a WTF.

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Arthur, still falling. Donnie, buy the spurs pick!

Donnie already left the building so he can be in bed at 10pm.

Wow, MSG announcing that David Lee doesn't fit in Mike D system. Gus just said it and said it comes from various people in the organization.

Chalmers would be a nice addition... a defensive PG we could use... Jordan too... God knows we need a shotblocker

Buzzmaster: Danilo Gallinari is next!

Matt (Chicago): Danilo how does it feel to leave one country to move to another?

Buzzmaster: You move from the most beautiful city in Italy and come to NEw York, the best city in the USA. You go from the best to the best.

Jon (New York): i look forward to see what you can do for the Knicks. How will you help the team?

Danilo Gallinari: My goal is to play hard. Give all my heart to play, my effort. Help the team to win any way I can. This is my goal. Play hard, that's it.

Nathan (41051 independence ky@): Danilo, how do you think you'll fit in in new york and d'antoni?

Danilo Gallinari: I didn't have any problem in my career with any coaches. Anything they ask, I will do. I will do whatever coach says to me. That's it.

Gary (Phoenix): Gallinari, how will you live without delicious Italian dishes?

Danilo Gallinari: I think there are a few restaurants in New York. I think I will find those.

Tim (New York): How do you feel about going to the worst team in basketball

Danilo Gallinari: I think we can build something together. I want to help this city win the games and grow up into something that will be positive.

Justin (Stamford, CT): Danilo, Are you mature enough and ready to contribute right now?

Danilo Gallinari: I don't know. I'm so curious to know. And how I will be a player here. I want to do this experience and working out as I always have my life, I think I can be a good player.

Wow, sounds like Danilo has options. I hope he doesn't pick up his ball and move back home to Italy after two seasons too.

Batum for Hou. All good picks from here on out. Might Arthur fall out of the first round? NO WAY.
