It's not an I told you so situation. The point isn't that Nixluva was wrong and Bip was right. Becuase the backcourt could have worked. If both players made the choice to make it work it could have. Nixluva has as much knowledge of the game as me and he could have been correct in that situation. The point is that since I did not feel that the backcourt was a great idea I was considered a non fan. Just for asking the question of "what if?: somehow my fan card was taken away.
I've worked long and hard to get it back. I look at the roster and I have my honest opinions. I judge fairly I'm just not sure at what level your opinion makes you a fan. That is why I love to include "lover" and "hater" in most of my posts, because it's so silly.
I look at this roster and I think they have the talent level to compete for the EAstern conference title. They have the talent to actually win the east. They have 4 players with enough talent to compete with anyone. 2 players are normally enough to compete. We have Curry and Zach. That in itself is enough to almost guarantee a contender. But we have so many headcases on our team that some of us are actually doubting if this team can even make the playoffs. We will look to blame injuries, the refs, fans when the only blame is the players on this roster. It is time for our starting line-up to show the commitment that our rookies did in the summer league. 3 straight years we haven't gotten it. For 3 straight years people have been called haters for requesting it. Enough excuses. Get it done on the floor.
As Nixluva said it's great to analyze what is going on. It's great to analyze the "improvements" that are taking place. But at some point the analyzation has to stop and the results have to show. Enough with the excuses.
