I want Balkman to take the rest of the shots this quarter.
Sh-t in the popcorn to go with sh-t on the court. Its a theme show like Medieval times.

Balkman is playing out of his mind.

I think that's the only way he knows how.

This is soooo flippin' pathetic. How do blow a team out on the road, then come home with no intensity and fall behind by 20 to a road weary team that has lost 6 straight.....?????

Maybe we need hungry guys like Frank Williams, I see he's making a comeback in NBDL 32 PTS 6 ASSIST 6 3PTERS.

Iwant Frank back send steph to NBDL. I hated that day when he got his job taken away.

I was a big Frank fan.

Me too. I'd love to see him back in the league.

Is LB still coaching ? Why does steph look uninterested ?

he's coming to grips with the fact that he has no excuses left

the fans, the system, steve francis... there will always be excuses.

But now not even Isiah is buying it. Who's gonna buy it now? Pat Reilly?

please, please, please...

Remember when he used the excuse that LB was behind the Francis trade because he was trying to use Francis to supplant him. The LB haters were then mad at LB for this and now Francis is supplanting him as a leader if he can just stay out of foul trouble.

I agree with you in principal, but this season the fans are clearly being hard on the team and it's having a negative effect. I understand everyone is frustrated, but they're 4-4 on the road and and 1-5 at home against basically the same teams.

I bet they do much better against the Bulls in Chicago.

maybe they're overcome with an unbearable sense of guilt for last season.

I suspect he's better than Mardy... though I can only suspect that at this point

I simply don't agree. These guys play good, they get cheered. They play bad, they get booed. How bad do you have to play to get down by 20 to a disappointing team?

Either way, in the course of our argument, we are now down by 20 again.

The fundamental difference is, to me, you are argung that the fans need to support the players. With this I agree. But the players have to give the fans something to support. The booing didn't start the first game of the season.

I just feel it is the players responsibility to try to play through adversity-home crowd disappointment being one of them-and never use the fans as an excuse for bad play.

huh? I think it's fair to say that last season was so awful that neither the fans nor the Knicks like being at the Garden.

hmm, I feel like the fans were booing right off the bat in the Indiana game, despite it being like a five point game at halftime. I remember Marbury having a lot of turnovers and getting booed repeatedly.

I think it's the team name. The players don't like it. It doesn't convey what they represent. They would probably be more comfortable with the New York Tinmen, or the New York Doctor Phils.

And the players promised it was an aberration, and Larry's fault, and that this year would be waaaay different, but it's shaping up to be far too similar to last year at home.

Bulls announcers: "we'd like to be able to update you on the Frye and Richardson injuries, but the morons here with the Knicks will not update us."

Blaming loosing on the fans is some weak shiat. Don't even bring it here. Next thin you know you'll be laming fans for IT's trades. Oh but wait, LB made him do it!
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?
