Channing earned the right to finish that game. I wish he did. What's alarming to me is, it seems when Frye is on, Curry is off and when Curry is on, Frye is off.

Thats cuz they both need the ball early in the game to get them going and get their confidence going.. Thats why you start either Frye OR CUrry at center with Lee at PF bustin hiss ass grabbin boards

I got to agree.

I just got home and caught the tail end of the game. Now we have to make a habit of winning at home. Those youngs boys were leaving it all out on the court tonight, from what I saw.

The Knicks held it down during the game, and my man Gus sis the same on the postgame show.

Time ro rewind the DVR. Working with only my right hand after the left got operated on last week. Doc said I could type after my fingers loosened up enough, so here I am, loving the fact that da Knicks got the W.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Here's something else: Frye is really starting to carry his new weight better and was looking a lot more athletic tonight.

Great win for the Knicks. Again the bench comes through. Balkman with a great game, Lee with a great game. Good win for the Knicks.

Most promising aspect of the game was Frye's D around the basket. He blocked a couple of shots, got a couple more that were erased by foul calls on other defenders, and altered a few more shots still. If he can develop into a bonafide shotblocker that's huge.

Just a good solid game from the Knicks all the way around. For the 1st time the whole team played well. They played like a TEAM on D and O. Hopefully the team can keep this up and get some wins. When the starters play well it just makes our bench that much more dynamic, cuz we really have one of the best benches in the league IMO.

He's been challenging shots and trying to shut down lanes since the first game of the season.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

No he hasn't. There was a HUGE difference between his effort on D Wed. Night and since the first game of the season.

Channing is a differnt player at center. The minute Curry goes out Frye becomes a better player. He was lost (again) guarding Jamison but had no problem at all when he was on Thomas or Haywood.

This game has a really weird feeling to it... Slow... the garden is not into it all... I feel like we are the spurs or somethin... Expected to win, like its not exciting if we are winning...

I knew something was up - This game was the lowest garden attendence since 1992... A lot of empty seats!!!!

Well considering that Frye had started the year in a slump, it's understandable that he LOOKS more intense now that he's paying better. However he actually had shown some signs that he was going to be pretty good inside on D. It was just overshadowed by his poor offensive performance and shortened minutes. How else do you explain him having 8 blocks so far this season?

He certainbly gave effort on the first game of the season: 1 block on the great Hakeem Warrick, one charge drawn in the fourth on the great Hakeem Warrick.

Even the games he did not get any blocks he is trying to shutdown lanes and contesting, and that is really more important than the flashy block stat.

Oh yeah, and he is also averaging about 1 steal per game.

Don't tell me the kid doesn't play defense. He is not the best man-to-man defensive player, sure, but he understands team defense and he tries hard.
