Marbury is never going to get it. You also get assists by penetrating the way Parker did last wednesday against the Knicks.

This wasn't as bad a game from Steph as you guys are making it. He played well, played solid D, encouraged his teammates, his shots just weren't falling and he didn't get to the line. I think you guys are over reacting.
I think this is something we can build from.

Um... I thought about this. Then I thought maybe he was playing kind of sarcastic like, this is how it is if I run Larry's system. I'm not sure which it is. Maybe a little of both.

Marbs is just putting in just enough effort to get by, it's not good enough, he has been in this town for almost three yrs, if he doesn't understand how the media is and what the fans expect from him, then I think it's time for him to bid adeu to NYC and the Knicks, since his skin is too thin to take an criticism and do nothing about it, like change his attitud, it's time to wave goodbye to him.

My take on Steph tonight was him trying to show how much we'd miss his scoring if he were gone.

Well not much, we lose either way. Plus, he was playing half the game from the two! LB wants him taking 15-20 shots from the point, think he wants less from the two?

Steph has to stop showing us what he can't do, like play point or SG for larry, and start showing us what he can do. How about winning a couple for us to prove how we'd miss you, ya bum.

What exactly is he supposed to say? No comment? What good will that do for the writers? He get's attacked everywhere he goes. This is the most active I've seen him in a post game interview all season. He was obviously annoyed and frustrated. His usual post game interviews are in this monotonic voice that makes me wanna fall asleep. Its not easy to be questioned after a bad game like this especially when he gets the same hate when he gets 20 pts. Its never enough. Killa4Luv is also correct when saying that his on court demeanor was a lot more positive compared to his behavior in the past weeks.
Maybe he'll come out with a little more fight from now on. Maybe he has reached his breaking point. Whatever the case I'm going to wait untill after the All Star break or possibly the season to call for him to be traded. It's not as if we trade him and automatically Miracle happens and we go deep into the play offs. Time & patience are 2 things we need to stick to right now. We need stability and thats starts with Larry Brown. LB WILL get this to work somehow so how about we wait for him to stop the mad scientist routine and then see what we've really got here.

The mob turns and roars and mutters and gnashes its teeth. The mob never likes to think.

Marbury had a bad game. Players aren't allowed to have bad games? It happens.

We lost this game primarily because we let yet another team shoot over 50% from the field. Of course, this is Marbury's fault alone, because Marbury plays D at all 5 positions. Off with his head.

Well perhaps Marbs wasn't aware that it was a seriousinjury. You'd have to be blind not have seen him come out of the game, and yea...I usually dont know who scored how much untill the announcers point it out OR the boxscore comes out. He also pointed out how Curry stepped up the scoring for the team. That is something Marbury has to do every night that goes unnoticed. I said this before and we need a TEAM to come to play games.

I don't think you even believe what you just wrote since you said, "Maybe Steph will come out with a little more fight from now on".

Maybe?. You have to have more conviction then that to make your statement backing Marbury, because obviously you haven't been watching the last 10 games or of you have you been wearing rose colored glasses, Steph is mailing it in, and he will not show anymore fight for a long time, or until he is gone. In case you haven't looked at his history of
moves to other teams, it's about that time for him to move on, believe I would've like to see it work out for him, but he has to go, period!.

I have been patient with this team for 35 yrs, so don't tell me about patience, this is not working out so get real things need to happen and Steph needs to go.

its truly unbelievable, how steph gets bahed for a TEAM game, i havent been a fan of steph the past couple of weeks, but tongiht he looked more active out there and he actually was communicating witht he press. Ppl wanna dissect all of his actions and look for a flaw in every aspect of not only his game, but his life. seriously this hating has ben upped ot a new level by the way the season has started.

Marbury stinks!!! He is not a leader and it is getting worse each game. He is collecting a paycheck. This is a sad situation and it is getting worse. If Isiah can trade that contract he should get executive of the year.
I want to leave something that's going to stand for a long timeI want to leave a legacy,I want to leave tradition.I want to leave an imprint,a blueprint in terms of how people play, and how they coach and how they respond when they put on the Knick uni.

You may not have noticed, but it's not so well hidden that Brown, Isiah, and the MSG paid commentators are part of said "mob".
