obviously, I chose 3 versatile/defensive/skilled/ TEAM PLAYER's
While none are max players, they can all play uptempo or half court
Plug in some scorers and the team is set

Gay/George in there or a Love/Aldridge/Dirk

or some cheaper salaries in

JR Smith and Taj Gibson

I feel ya... I said this before.. this league no longer has the depth of super talent as it did in the past when guys like MJ, malone, Hakeem, Robinson, ewing, isiah, payton, were all in the league.. today, we have two really elite talents.. Durant and lebron.. the rest fall in line and a lot of them are very close.. so for me, if you feel that stars are the way to win, and you don't have the best two or 3, then you better build a great team.... which is why I like what you are saying and I agree..

for me, I love jru at PG as well, a young nash would be ideal for my team, but now, Jrue would be the man or even tony parker.. I would go with gallo or george at SF... and either noah or ibaka at center... of course this is assuming that we can't get our hands on Durant and lebron...

I hear what ya'll are saying there. Obviously they are the crem de crem Lebron/Durant but there may be 1-2 players in this league if healthy and offered in a trade for either their GMs would have to think long and hard about it....those 2 players are...

Derrick Rose(although I loath him as a point guard)

Kyrie Irving(Uncle Drew There Do Dat)

But yep you put this young crop of 2 ways on the same team I'd put them up against anybody to win

Jrue
Gordon
George
Ibaka
Noah

yea, i know you and I both are not that fond of rose as a PG, but as a player? another story..LOL,he is nasty... he may be one of the few if any you would have to consider if offered to you, even if you had a lebron....

kyrie irving? maybe one day, but not at this point..

Sure you would have to with Kyrie his first 2yrs have been sick, he's 20yrs old. I'd surely do it if I were Miami for 28yr old Lebron....OKC different situation with BustBrook there and Durant is still young himself but theoretically speaking what if Harden was still with the Thunder?

Jeremy Lin just stunk it up there in the first quarter, as usual against Miami's defense, but nice to see Houston giving Miami an early fight during the first. 32-30 Miami.

Miami loss + a Knicks win and we're first place of our Conference moving forward.

Yes 28 isn't old but 20 to 28 is a huge GAP...It's pretty apparent he's the next league apparent. I do agree I would like to see him lead a team to the Playoffs but projecting out there's no way he's not the next great. He's already a solid steady 47/40/86...I'd like to see him distribute a little more, but I believe it has more to do with him being injured a few games and other teammates being injured the same.

Didn't help that the likes of Lin and Morris were pretty damn awful tonight.

Lin with the MONSTER GAME versus Miami. 13 pts and 3 asts. Knick could really use him in the playoffs.

Harden only put up 36 pts 12 rebs 7 asts.

Miami had a great game plan against th Rockets. They took the ball away from Lin and made Harden the primary ball handler. They basically said we are denying Lin the ball even on inbounds off made shots. It was genius. Rockets had less fastbreaks opportunities with Lin. Rockets don't know how to set picks. Heat were also blitzing him as soon as he got the ball forcing him to give up the ball. Parsons also had a lousy game. Recipe to beating the Rockets is to force Harden to handle the ball from end-to-end. It tires him out.

EDIT: They also knocked Lin around. He was bloodied again and was sent sprawling to the floor again with hard fouls on drives.

you almost need to blow miami out.. if the game is close, and they are at home.. that is pretty much a guaranteed loss... refs will see to that.. LOL

LeDouche and Wade, specially LeDouche, are really getting good at the art of the flop. It seems they graduated with high honors from the Vlade Divac School of Flopping. The rest of the Heat team are also doing it. Chris Andersen who was not a known flopper has been flopping like crazy as well now. Sounds like the Heat as a team practice it.

God, I hate the Heat.

LeBron James is 6'8" 250-260 pounds and he flops.

Yeah.
