Now that Manny has no market and the Dodgers are looking elsewhere, what are the chances that we get Manny to take a backloaded contract with $10M the first year and $22.5M per for the last 2 seasons? It's $15M more than he would have made with the Red Sox and $10M more than what the Dodgers offered.

Or maybe we offer $40M for 2 years and the chance to stick it to the Red Sux 19 times a year for the next 2 years.

i don't see us getting Manny now unless he just tells the Yankees he'll sign on for nothing just so he can win another championship & stick it to the Red Sux... i don't see a Boras client doing that.

You also spoke out against' the Yankees moves, almost insinuating the same kinds of sentiments all those other Yankee haters feel about us.

I'll say it again. 'I have no sympathy for any of them'. I know those fans and I've seen them and their media in action. Particularly in the midwest and one especially farmers market city. I don't appreciate it, never did and never will. It isn't worth it and not only do I 'not' feel sorry for them, but I very much ENJOY the pain and suffering some of them go through.

You have to understand, they certainly enjoyed my pain as they smashed it in my face over the years. GO NEW YORK!!! FUCK EVERYONE ELSE!

That's how you do it to everyone. You make long drawn out paragraphs of switch hitting comments and then want people to back and get the exact quote. What's the point of doing that? You'll just shoot it all down again. You have an excuse for everything.

I called you out on it and you wanna pretend it never happened.

And you still haven't addressed the steroid issues. A much, much, much higher problem then a team trying to put together a team to compete. Do you think it was fair for Bonds to do what he did to baseball, the fans in S.F. and then Hank Aaron?

what's actually happening is if u accuse Cashman of being a crappy GM w/no factual knowledge or desire to even listen to others when they educate you on the moves he's made as a GM, you'll get an earful... when u make sweeping statements that someone has no skills as a GM & yet have no idea what you're talking about, you'll get an earful... when you justify your personal disdain for Brian Cashman based on half of his current tenure as the Yankees GM & completely disregard the other half, then you get an earful... just get your facts straight before u pretend to know what you're talking about Bonn... it's not that much to ask.

You wanna be moral and excuse the Yankees for other fans, etc. views, then address the other things that actually hurt baseball. Let me give you an example of how great the Yankees organization is.

When the Yankees got Babe Ruth from bastan, he made baseball great again, after the chicago white sux threw the w.s. a few years earlier, trying to taint the sport.

Well' the same thing can be said again. The Yankees spent a lot to get a lot. We got big with the spending, but in the end, they will once again make baseball matter, especially after this whole steroid fiasco has been going on. Someone's gotta do it and who better to do it then the NY team?? Let them bitch and complain all they want to. Don't be ashamed to be a Yankee.

ABSOLUTELY! Pettitte, Giambi, Sheffield, Rocket and a hand full of other recent Yankees who either got caught or admitted to using steroids. Remember guys like Jack the flipper. A former chicago white sux player who thought he could just put on the pins and flip the fans because they weren't happy paying him all that money and not living up to it.
