Knicks are skirting the borders - 57mm, 42.5mm, 37.5mm, 33.5mm and 21mm in their starting lineup with two All NBA players and three elite “role players”. Their starting 5 was pretty dominant and even forcing their weakest offensive link to shoot still resulted in a plus TS% shot attempt.

Hopefully, hopefully, hopefully the Knicks and KAT/Brunson fully adjust. Holy cow these numbers are straight insane

Feel like Spida is a weaker version of Jaylen Brown, his playoff numbers absolutely suck

I have him as a more athletic but less skilled version of Brunson that plays worse defense, won’t take a charge and doesn’t have the killer instinct to win.

As a Knicks fan, you absolutely need to be more critical of Spida, that's light sauce

I would, but I like Spida.

We have a trojan horse amongst us

If I liked Spida (I admit I kinda sorta do and kinda sorta don't) this would flip me to the "I no longer like him" side. Way too selfish. I mean seriously it's like "I get all the money". You fans accept mediocre results.

If we haven't started yet we should be building statues for Brunson and anyone else who was smart enough to know that they'll still be rich AF if they accept less, but they'll have trophies, memories, and experiences that money can't buy.

Everywhere Walt Frazier goes he is treated like royalty. He has made a good living, enough to have a place in islands and to afford all of those suits.

If you asked him now would he trade his two rings for an extra $100 million in the bank?

Brunson has gotten everything he ever wanted through hard work and he'll be rolling in dough forever wherever the decimal point lands.

I'll never forget listening to Lebron talk about becoming the first billionaire athlete. I remember thinking: IDGAF about this guy whatsoever. Whereas a guy like Magic built so many businesses post-career and after surviving AIDS and he seems like a cool cat as a billionaire. He earned $40M in the NBA. He made the rest later.

All 5 starters from last years team should get statues. Put one on every corner of MSG with the Brunson statue on 8th Ave and 34th st

Kevon Looney off the board to the lakers. Jake Fischer got that one wrong. He said he was going to end up with the Knicks. I think Drummond is a little better though.

Damn

If you check your ticket stub to a Wizards game, you'll see their new slogan:

"Welcome to the Sh!t Show"

Could be one of those teams that kind of suck, but occasionally spanks the crap out of a top team just to keep it interesting.

It’s a lot of glazing by Shams for a 3rd string backup center signing

Yeah I’m glad we went with Drummond over looney who is undersized and not very good .

I still think we are keeping that last roster spot open till we hit gold. The other spot is going to Clarkson.

If JV gets dumped by Denver than we might get him. Though JV and Drummond both struggle on the perimeter…

I really like our bench with

Jose or Kolek
McBride or Shamet or JC ?
Shamet or Mo
Mo or PAC?
Drummond or blank

Call the bucks about ware
Call Nola to atleast plant a seed with messi
Offer a min to the mavs kid who is restricted

We need a defensive big like the kid from the mavs or Nola

Someone who can guard the perimeter and switch and rim protect .

Drummond will be great on most nights for 10+ min . But he’s going to struggle vs stretch 5’s or more athleticism.

If we don’t get that in a 3rd back up we might see a lot of OG as a small ball 5 . With MO at the 4.

Regardless this is fun times man let’s hope leon nails that 3rd center spot and brings back JC !!

No to LeBron
No to derozen
Yes to Clarkson
Yes to an athletic defensive big ..,

Sad to see Mitch go but of the core he was the most replaceable as he had his issues with durability, hands of stone and worst ft shooter in Knicks history. He was the best offensive rebounder in the league (Drummond bandaids that) also a incredible defender honestly one the the best defensive players in the league. ( still need to replace)

JC should be a priority on a min vet deal …

We just need that athletic freak defender that’s 7’0

Offer that kid on the mavs a deal and see if they match or would do a sign and trade .

Moussa Cisse

Let’s go get him if we can it sounds like the mavs are going to just let him walk or hope no one offers him anything .

Offer him a 2 year minimum deal. See if they match.

I would've went with Looney over Drummond cause he plays better defense and has experience playing for Mike Brown and was a part of a championship team 3x but I trust Leon. Maybe Drummond plays better defense under this scheme and coaching staff. Assistant coach Mark Bryant is really good and was key in KAY's overall improvement on defense.

While we wait to see how Andre adapts to our defense, his shooting and passing ability will help.

He is a much better passer than Mitch was. And Mitch could only do lobs and putbacks.

Drummond will be able to find open shooters and cutters when passing out of the paint.

And his defense will be something they can scheme for to some extent by playing next to two good wing defenders, i.e. Bridges, OG, Mo, Shamet, etc.

I don’t think it’ll be that easy, they won’t let him walk. But they have too many bigs and we might be able to work something out with them

Cisse is definitely worth a phone call.

The other very intriguing option to me is Mo Bamba. Has never been able to tap into his potential. Was on dreadful teams. Has all the potential in the world, the issue has been his mindset and low motor .

If we can get him to be fully engaged (no one has) the guy is a monster. Has hands, protects the rim can be a monster on the boards . Can stretch the floor, why has this guy not been able to carve out a role . He played well in the g league last year.

He’s only 28 yo

I thought he was going to be a star coming out of college .

Maybe coming home and playing for a contender would light a fire under him. If we got him to go all out for 10 to 15 min a game. I don’t think there’s a better option especially when we are talking about getting him on a two way deal.

Unless there’s something about him that we don’t know. Like that he’s a bad locker room guy or a bad person. No one else we are mentioning has his physical stature.

Why is he not an nba player ?
