As much as we complain about the refs, that phantom out of bounds call on Maxey was a big help. He had one guy to beat for a layup and instead Knicks got to set the defense. A dunk in that situation could have swung the momentum. Instead Philly had to call a timeout play review.

This was game one and two to some extent.
We can guess.

Doing the DVR thing. Not watching a 1pm game smack in the middle of the day. Too pretty a day to do so.

"Rope-A-Dope" predictably worked. Embiid got tired. After he blocked Brunson then smashed him he was not the same.
iHart want for it and incredible the way Embiid got him to pile on the fouls.

He tried that **** on OG and he did not fall for the arm thing. Still got some fouls on OG but by the 4th Embiid was worn out. He played 43 min and did not sit at all the 2nd half. Great game by OG. Silent assassin! Such little bravado to his game but he is a killer.
I know he is the enemy and a "bitch" but except for some things I am truly impressed with the effort he is giving. Philly is limited and Nurse is doing what he can but Batum is toast, Oubre is limited, and Lowrey as crafty as he is, just does not have the offensive chops. Maxey is still young and inexperienced.

Kudos to Deuce and of course Brunson who was incredible.

Somewhat subtle but yes some key adjustments- with both Josh/Deuce guarding Maxey on perimeter when Sixers ran high pick/roll to get Maxey going downhill tonight we had OG on the back line to come over and contest Maxey drives with length and with OG free’d from chasing Maxey over picks 25 feet out he hits the boards for 14 rebounds and 3 blocks as well with minimal fouling.

Im not a Richard Jeff fan but he called it pretty good for both teams. They called out the dirty stuff.

Knicks wore out the 76ers. Plain and simple. Philly was exhausted and knicks were sharper. Im going to guess that was part of the plan. I said this morning "Rope-a-dope".

Knicks did go into Embiid and he was effective, but he wore out.
Philly got fatigued and you make mistakes when that happens. Don't discount that.
DDV did not have it tonite and Deuces defense on Maxy was excellent.
Maxy got the looks but got tired.

Credit all the Knicks thru 4 quarters and a game plan that worked.
