![]() Let's go Knicks!
The Knicks played solid basketball after the first quarter. While they still relied heavily on Brunson/RJ/Randle, the game played out differently with Hart off the floor. It added some element of unpredictability - certainly the Heat have spent a fair amount of time trying to neutralize Hart's all around contributions that their game plan was thrown off a bit by this change. Grimes had a very solid (fantasy) stat line. While he didn't score a lot, he had 5 assists, 4 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocks - basically he was deeply involved in the game with numbers you'd expect Josh Hart to contribute. We dodged bullets with our weak free throw shooting. We can't blame it on Mitch. It's understood that his free throw % is like a good baseball batting average. No reason why the Knicks couldn't go with Hartenstein if need be. But the erratic free throw shooting of Randle and RJ is a little disappointing. (RJ generally came through today).

So at least whatever happens to the series we've gotten a better RJ, a functional Obi (with some good spurts), Grimes hopefully in a breakout. IQ got hurt but of all our second team he seemed to have made the least progress (and lost several mil in the process) and Deuce still needs time. |
