Watching Soul as we speak. Really good.

Some late reviews..

Tenet- Like watching the movie between video game levels. "Interstellar" was sci-fi with characters you can relate to. Better story as well.

Cobra Kai season one. Remember seeing "Karate Kid" at the old Zigfeld theater in NYC. Surprised how well written it was. Could have focused exclusively on the main characters from the film. Fun cross-generation storytelling. Funny too.

Synchronic- Anthony Mackie film that feels half finished.

Black Mirror season 3+4- Enyoyed it

The Expanse season 4- Liked how they spent time on a planet. The reboot of Battlestar Galactica did the same, not as well.

Master Z- Fun martial arts film, great cast, fights

Watched the old Ken Burns documentary again "The Dust Bowl". Where we're headed. "Interstellar" used clips of it.

Bill and Ted 3- Loved it comedy sequels usually suck after years since the last film.

I agree about Interstellar's character development. I will say, on the second watch of Tenet I developed a deeper connection with the characters in Tenet. Neil's storyline becomes sadder. I was all in on Kenneth Branaugh's over the top acting.
Season 4 of the Expanse is good, but I think season 5 is even better. They're ending at season 6 on Amazon, but there's clearly more story to tell. I'm not sure what the studios plans are for wrapping it up, but there has been speculation that they are planning movies.

Have everything from "Thief" down, in my collection. Saw Thief in the theater. One of my all time favorites.

Have most of Hitchcock's films. Good stuff.

I was like the WTF, I'm gonna bing Me.Robot when I saw the first 2 episodes. Episode 3 is OK, but episode 4 hooked me. I can't tell if it's good yet, but it's got my interest.

The first couple of episodes were a tough watch for me. But last week’s episode has me looking forward to what’s next!

I’ve also been watching The Expanse every week. Now that this season is complete, I’m going to have to find something else to watch. I feel like they peaked in season two, but I still enjoyed every season so far.

Season 2 was my favorite also, but all the seasons have been strong. But this past season is game changer. So many interesting, coherent plot threads. Can't be wrapped up in a final season.

Expanse might be the best sci-fi EVER. I binged 1-3. When 4 came out I binged 1-3 again. When 5 came out I binged 1-4 again. I think 3 is my favorite. Prax... Amos "You're not that guy. I am that guy" SO PHUCKING GOOD.

Yeah, the space encounters are awesome. I'm a fan of Bobbie...she does it for me Amos might be my favorite character, tho Alex is probably the most relatable to me.

Too funny, was just talking with my dad yesterday about a new series that we could both start watching so we could chat over it and The Expanse came up for both of us because of what others have said in this thread.... and I'm glad you have reinforced it and can't wait to start

Its a very good series. BigDaddyG is right when he said the first season is about "World building". Big cast, first season is about telling their story, and the big mystery to be solved.

I would say the first season is tough for some because there are so many plots and story lines its tough to sort out what you are supposed to care about. Its just a lot to take in. However that does get sorted and you get so many great things with this show. Amazing character arcs and the science is great. Starting with the basic understanding that space battle is terrifying and just how everything makes sense. Probably 90% of my favorite female fictional characters come from the Expanse.

And BigDaddyG... Frankie Adams "Bobbie"

Its a YES for me

I will also add, I don't share the same zeal for Avasarala as Amos...but back in her in day...pretty nice.

Watched Vivarium on Prime Video today. This movie will make you say W.T.F. If it was an hour long I would have loved it.

I did struggle with the first season, but now am more than halfway through season 2 and its pretty plain sailing-faster pace, much easier to understand what's happening (and season 1 makes more sense), definitely worth sticking with. It looks great too
