We do random stuff together to hang out, Red Bulls games, Motor cross... a couple years ago I took him to the Knick game and it was that double OT loss where KP and Marketing were dueling it out in dramatic fashion. He said "that was fun, can we go again?" and I bought 5 games for this year.

Worst PG play I have seen in an NBA game in a long time. Neither team had any ball movement. It was all bigs barreling to the basket and kicking out. Elf looked terrible getting us into any kind of offense. Frank didnt look much better but did pick up the pace a bit. Watching Knox from this year to last is inspiring. He really looks like he's taking good steps. RJ is such a man. He forces action. Portis obviously kept us in this by hitting every shot. He's got scoring chops no doubt but he was quite energized on D as well.

LOL its so funny but we have role players at PG and good passing bigs and RJ. Knicks should be playing the triangle based on this personnel

Trier did not look happy about sitting. To be fair Ellington looked great. He hits big shots and is a very good ball mover. He's a nice weapon off the bench. If you told him he was a star, paid him and started him he might be Tim Hardaway, but in this role he's great.

Morris and Taj might be the only guys on the roster who can set a clean pick. Randle tries really hard but destroys guys and gets hit with an offensive foul or two every game it seams. Randle is not a guard. He would look great WITH a good PG, making the 2nd pass and moving the ball. Him handling the ball in the high post and making decisions does not look to play to his strength. When he's in motion and his options are score or dump he's really really good at both. I think Randle will be a really good player for us if we can get a bit more system-structure oriented. Its early.

Mitch is so active under the boards and on the offensive glass. Its so early for him also. His +/- was brutal but still looked good doing his thing.

Bulls have an interesting squad. Lots of good players, not one great one. Zach is dumb and Frank locked him down pretty good late. Marketing is really good but a bit one dimensional. He's a Gallo-clone and thats a good player. Bulls PGs suck, always thought Dunn would be a stud. He's terrible. Carter is really good too. Cobe didnt have much of an impact. He hit a jumper in Frank's face but I dont remember much else. He was another guy Frank was draped on at times. Its tough... Bulls kind of in no-mans land talent wise. Maybe they grow together and get good, but it strikes me as a squad lacking impact/star potential players. We'll see but they have a fun team.

You landed a entertaining one. Last game I went to was turrible(Barkley voice). Was falling asleep into the 3rd quarter. Other than the Celtics game were they quit once DSjr got booed. Very game has come down to late 4th quater.

Frank's D was crazy...what we sometimes don't talk about is that even when he's not shutting someone down 1/1, he's a disrupting influence as opponents have to react to his ability to be all over the court. Hard to play D this hard for a full game, but in spurts, it can be a game changer.
He just has to be more confident on his jumper. Hopefully with more minutes he starts to look more like FIBA Frank.

Barrett, as some have said, is going to be a stud. I think he ends up at the 3, but we'll have to wait to see how he fills out and if he adds an inch.

Morant is a fine player...and Zion is explosive, but I think we might have gotten lucky with this guy. He is still a baby physically, but he's a confident SOB and a baller who can do a lot of things to help you win.

I know some are still upset with the KP thing, but Barrett dropping to us was similar in many ways...We're upset where we finished after the lottery, but we end up getting a superior player, anyway.

Yep....said it when Phil drafted KP. said it again with RJ. I told people at work, and they thought I was crazy. Said this while RJ was in college. What if Zion wasn't the best player on his team? What if RJ Barrett becomes the best NBA pro? They said he takes too many wild shots. I was like...

If he has the confidence to take wild shots and finish games with Zion on his team, he's going to be a beast in the NBA. Glad Fiz is playing him veteran minutes. Keep it up and he could be ROY. But I'll be happy for even 3 best rookie. That just means Morant and Zion are that much better. Cause RJ is a beast right now. And he will feed on this pressure, like gasoline. I think the Garden and fans will actually make him better, along with his knicks history and vets like Morris. They all know the garden respects hard blue collar type players, and RJ fits right in.

One consideration...Morant and Zion are both ahead of RJ in terms of physical maturity. That aspect of their profile won't change as much as RJ's will.

My theory, anyway.

Really? I don't understand this. If anything Morant will get a lot stronger and maybe Zion will adjust his profile long term.

RJ seems filled out physically. Maybe he gets a bit stronger but he seems to be there already

I'm in this same boat. Plus I wouldn't guarantee Morant ever gets bigger or stronger; there are some permanent string-bean types (e.g., KD, probably Trae); there's not anything necessarily wrong with this body type -- depends on your game.

People will be debating Zion for years; some already are, e.g., whether he's too heavy for the game he plays

I think RJ is in a great spot. His athleticism seems well suited for his old-man, crafty game. They should also keep him at 2 so he can bully when needed
