Yup. He already told them he is signing a QO which makes it tougher for them. Plus who knows if he will be the Same again

Hate losing KP..

Let’s start off that Mills signed Hardaway to that idiotic contract which cost us KP.

Trade was all about getting rid of Hardaway..

This franchise makes me sick and it all starts at the top with Dolan.

so what do people think the odds are of KP coming back this season for Dallas? Given the sprinting post from a while back I'm wondering if he plays this season and explodes

well i agree the hardaway contract was terrible. However it seems KP made it known he was exploring FA and still intends to. At first i hated it but getting the draft picks help ease the sting. Plus KP has major injury concerns

This doesnt make any sense...KP wanted out! They didn't trade THJ to move KP...KP was gone regardless

KP’s surgeon was Dr David Altcheck who actually repaired my ACL, is one of the best in the country.
The doctor himself said KP will be back even better, which I definitely believe.

but we did get back assets. Nobody was giving a kings ransom for a player coming off ACL injury and has a bad injury history. Yes we got cap room but we also got two firsts and dsj.

we may get both. DSJ comes into his own and we still get good lottery odds.

We got mediocre assets. The firsts as of now are not really valuable, considering the Mavs will probably be pretty good in the short term and nobody's going to put high value on a '23 pick. Except the Knicks, but we can't trade with ourselves.

I agree that we weren't going to get full value for Porzingis...but two things about that is we could either waited to deal him for after he shows something on the court, or we could've gotten back something more than literally a penny on the dollar back for him.
