I think if you are coaching Melo you have to save him from himself sometimes. You have to talk to him during FTs and call out plays on possessions after you see Melo doing to much. You have to tell him to keep calling for picks and drive and kick.

He needs a role model or abetter coach who can teach him

at this point of his career he is not gonna all of a sudden be a point guard. I mean he most likely isnt here next year anyway

Needed KO/KUZ in for Melo in last 3 minutes. Melo settled 4 times.

cant give him a longterm deal especially with his injury history
