Too early to say, but I wouldn't be surprised. Him leaving gives him a lot of room to showcase his ability on offense.

and mainly for not taking Ok4 or KP.

Russell has not impressed but you can't judge a rookie for at least a season. I still think he will be good but he may need to wait for chucker number 1 to retire.

I didn't hear Byron Scott explaining why they didn't take KP or OK4..I just heard him explaining why they didn't take Mudiay, as the guys on NBA TV was talking about it..Did you hear it?

I read it in an article today. They all look much better than him.

Just saw a play where russell is bringing down the ball and Kobe is on the other side of the arc with his hand up calling for the ball. A couple of passes where made and kobe still had his hand up. His hand remained up until the shot went in. Then he just put his head down and ran the other way.

hard to play with that.

Russell is going to have a rocky rookie year imo
Kobe is still chucking and Clarkson thinks he has even more of a green light than he does last year to start chucking shots. Then you factor that he still has to adjust to NBA speeds especially since he is far from being as athletically inclined than everyone else on his team.

Apparently. I have to disagree with Scott. Prior to the draft, the film I saw on Mudiay reminded me of Kidd at Cal. I don't think Mudiay becomes Kidd but I think he is a tremendous talent.

pretty stupid by a pretty stupid coach. Wonder why the lakers are an embarrassment? A chucking star and no advanced statistics.

I want Mudaiy to make a clown out of Coach Scott but so far, he's been ineffective. Both Russell and Mudaiy's stat sheet are identical.

Looking at the Lakers schedule I can see them start 3-22 in their first 25 games.

0-4 start and 16 out the next 20 on the road!!!
