IMO a Fan forum is the most likely place to find people who want to try and find ways that their favorite team can be successful. If you stick your neck out to try and come up with ways the team could be successful that is a very risky move. You leave yourself open to attack from those who enjoy taking shots at others tho they never stick their neck out on anything.

Yes this season has been awful, however, for the 1st time in a long time there's the chance for something truly positive to happen for this franchise with the coming draft. The team also has cap space to use in Free Agency, which is not always the case. So you would think there is a lot of positive things to discuss even in a lost season. Some of us choose to expend energy trying to come up with ways this team can improve this summer. It takes a lot of work to put together reasonable scenarios for what Phil could do. You know what is frustrating and makes someone angry after doing that, is to have someone come along and post a one line joke about how Melo is the reason nothing will work or that Phil couldn't possibly put a good team together this summer because of how this season went and just stick a Zen joke in there for good measure.

Yes I voted for banning. I think too often threads devolve into a mess of insults when they started out with good discussions. It isn't hard to see how and why that seems to be happening more and more on this forum. Perhaps it would dissuade the followers who come out of the woodworks and pile on as well. I don't expect everyone to agree with my take but there it is.

the knicks are not winning a championship next year so what's your point? in fact, the knicks have very little chance of winning a championship with melo. it was a huge mistaker and waste of time and money for the knicks to sign him. they have gone into full rebuild instead of trying to build a contender with a 31 year old. there's a clear, "logical disconnect" about these knicks, the natural result of which is polarization.

The point is in talking about Splat and Hector....how the **** did melo get involved?

i am saying that the source of polarization among the knicks fanbase is mostly about carmelo anthony. splat has voiced his dislike for dolan and melo, i assume hector feels similarly.

if you feel that the knicks have a legitimate shot at winning a title while carmelo anthony is here, playing 32-38 minutes a game, why then that is your prerogative.

I'm conversing with Nix. Envy started the most hateful thread imaginable and I've given them every chance to adapt their stance, but they grow more disdainful and dismissive by the page.
