You're reading too much into my words. I'm fine! I have been here for years and I have a pretty good handle on things in my world. It's just nonsensical to think this team is gonna tank when they haven't even seen what the team is like at full strength and after getting the hang of this system. Only you guys and some media are so convinced that this team can't really play good ball, which I totally disagree with and that is clear from all the posts i've made this year. If you really believe that this team won't improve a lot from what the looked like in the 1st 10 games then that's fine but i'm not buying what you guys are selling and neither are the Knicks.

I Think it's fair to say fisher's rotation has resemble a team that's struggling to find the right mix, so at times it looks like a tank job. Yesterday he played mostly 9 guys, and gave wear a few minutes, and the results were exactly what I expected.

Fisher plays everyone because he wants to keep the morale of the team up beat and positive, he wants guys to be always ready to step in and produce, which is good to a certain degree. I think if he doesn't find a 9 man rotation, it's just going to take that much longer, and we are going to fall deeper and deeper into the basement.

If he doesnt come out with that same rotation that just got him a solid win, we are definitely in tank mode.

1) the Sixers, who you may have noticed, are actually tanking, will keep us from the basement, no matter if Fish uses a 20 man rotation and manages to get Herb Williams some burn.
2) it's probably alot more fair to say that Fish has had 3 starters hurt to start the season. Using his bench is probably a hedge against anything else breaking. I'd rather see the yoots later with some real NBA burn now rather see them later on the weight of NBDL burn now.
3) the same rotation that got Fish a solid win against a Nuggets jv girls team that couldn't score a basket for 11 minutes and 59 seconds may not work against a real NBA team. I also would say it's more than fair to say that a change in the rotation against the Bucks and possibly utilizing Wear more than a few minutes signals tank job.

There is no tanking.
This team just plays as best as it can.
Can they play better? Possible.
And we going to see if they can.

The Knicks most definitely NOT tanking. They're waiting for Jose and Bargs to get back and to be worked into mid season form. As the team continues to develop better chemistry they won't lose so many close games. This team just hasn't gotten going at full tilt yet and it doesn't surprise me that those who have been doubters of this team would seize upon this early struggle to try and prove that this team can't play well. We haven't come close to seeing how good they can be yet. Not with Jose and Bargs with zero minutes played so far.

Fish will have a tough job settling on his final rotation but that's to be expected with the current situation. Even when Bargs and Jose get back it's gonna take time to work them in and get them comfortable. They have to make the most of every opportunity from here on.

Naaaaah they won't have too much time

Because that's why Phil and Fish are here to get 50 wins

No team snails pace their way to 50wins

In an overall tougher Conference and league overall

Your talking about Denver, who waxed the cavs on their home court the very next night..No that was a solid unit he went with and he needs to stick with it. Theres been several games were Acy and Dalemburt started, and didn't see a minute of action after the 1st qtrs. Then there's times where certain players don't play until the 4th qtr, and this is not garbage minutes either.

How do you explain that?

1st of all 50 wins isn't some unreachably great season. You're fixating on 50 as if 48 would somehow be a failure. The point is that this team could easily have a few months of good basketball that end with a nice winning record. One bad month does not a season make. Let's see how they finish this month and the rest of the season.

Phil and Fish are here to build a winning team and to establish a new culture with this franchise. It's not part of the plan to tank. Don't confuse me saying it's gonna take returning players time to get back up to midseason form as me saying they still don't expect to win games. The entire fact that this team has lost some very close games minus a key player like Jose should tell you that this team isn't that far off despite not even coming close to playing at their best yet. Teams can win even with flaws in how they're playing.

This team has a lot of things to tighten up in how they're playing from a team standpoint in addition to each individual player developing and adjusting to the system. As Fish gains more a handle on his rotations that will also help improve the teams performance. It will take more time but they are slowly making progress.

Even the Haters were roided up

I had things pegged pretty solid with exception

To a major whiff on Charlotte

They IMO are by far the most disappointing team in the East

Al Jefferson is overrated (offensively) and he is a horrible defender buy yay for his throw back archaic post game.

so here is what phil is thinking ....

would you give up our first rounder (if the CBA allowed)? No freakin way.

I don't want him occupying our cap space.

I am not saying that he is not a good player but certainly overrated.

I think he's properly rated

He doesn't make Max money, never has and is essentially 20/10 player

He might get close to max this summer only because of circumstance

No one goes on and on about Al Jefferson, great low post player though

way too many holes in his game and is certainly NOT a two way player.

What we need to do is the following:

Find an overlooked young center with raw skills, but decent upside somewhere around Russia

Locate some hard-working American reject who has honed his shooting skills in some obscure league in a place like the Netherlands or Belgium

I've got a fever and the only prescription is more cowbell!
we have a 50 win team on our hands this year, i'm good at feeling these things out
