Tkf - with all due respect, you suck

Presuming coach Mike Woodson starts Felton, Iman Shumpert, Tyson Chandler, Carmelo Anthony and Metta World Peace, the Knicks' bench consists of Prigioni, Udrih, J.R. Smith, Kenyon Martin, Andrea Bargnani and Amar'e Stoudemire, rookies Tim Hardaway, Jr. and C.J. Leslie and 6-foot-10 forward-center Jeremy Tyler.

Yeah, I said it. It's August and Grumwald is making positive moves... And the absolute BEST you have is dried manure?

Sheesh.

I was concerned with whether Grunwald could pull it off, but IMO I think he has. How can anyone quibble with what this man has done with so few resources. Now after topping it off with Beno. Grunwald has given the Knicks locker room some good chemistry with 3 foreign born players who won't feel lonely or isolated. It's a smart move. AB needs to feel comfortable and I think he will feel very comfortable in NY. We've got a great Italian community and in the locker room we've got a great mix of men from different age groups and cultures. The AB trade really stands up after the summer Grunwald has had. The support is there on this roster. Really love the trade for how this team is looking to handle the next 2 seasons.

Reviewing just this thread as evidence, expressing a strong dislike for someone's consistently Knick Hating opinions hardly qualify as sucking.

There is no way TKF hates the Knicks. You know very little about his posting history if you think he does. I think he wants them to win more than most of us do. He just hates this current assortment of players.

You act like he shouldn't be allowed to feel that way. It's not like the team achieved greatness in the 3 years of the Melo-Amare-Chandler era.

this is what confuses me, you guys now are spinning this to the wait for 2015 campaign... do you really think this is a championship team over the next two years? not even close....!! but yet you guys are already sounding like you are conceding...how bout being set up for the next 5-6 years like the pacers, bulls, etc...

if the window is two years, then this team should be torn to shreds.. go young, get picks... then evaluate who is good enough to keep past 2015, build a core, have a plan.... we don't.. what I see is sell tickets for the next two years, fall short, fire woodson, scapegoat him and grunwald and find the next allstar player to max out at superstar prices.... and repeat the process....

By 2015, i want to be that team on the rise!! not recovering from this mess and giving guys like carmelo a kobe max.. I swear I fear that with this team.... in two years I want to be looking to add a player or two to a young core, that is full of guys what compete, have integrity, and can play both sides of the floor.. not a bunch of bust, has beens, and reclamation projects..

the short sided view just kills me. you guys are going to be hating this two years from now...

Bonn1997 - any Knicks fan is a friend of mine. Nowhere was the word hate used or implied. Sucking is a separate category of chin music that tkf is more than capable of absorbing and defending on his own.

No need to spin it any other way.

Bargnani and Uhrih are two HUGE acquisitions that change the tenor of the roster for the better.

"Give me your tired, huddled masses yearning to run with Anthony."

It's right there on the Statue of Liberty.

I still don't know what your purpose in the UK is...

I haven't seen one positive post or comment or single ray of light come out of your fingertips in the short time I've been here. Everytime the Knicks have a win streak or have some prolonged success, you seem to disappear from the forums.

Then once we crash down to Earth or the offseason comes, you reappear like a ****roach.

What is the sole reason of tkf's existence?

It sure as hell ain't rooting for the Knicks lol.

I don't get it. It isn't a flattering picture but I always thought your issue with Melo was that the Knicks traded Gallinari for him. The guy is really good. The Knicks just got a guy that chose NY for less money because he said he it gave him the best chance to win. That is something you have brought up many times. It happened this morning.

I don't dislike Carmelo, but he's not a player to build around. And you certainly don't do it with guys who don't rebound or play very much defense. Everyone was saying we need that second guy because JR is not that guy. Bargnani is? More and more, I think we're really missing the #1 guy Melo can play off. 2015 can't come fast enough.

Bonn, as counsel for the defense, please explain the love for the Knicks. Apparently the picture is of someone in the uniform.

Who cares if he doesn't like him? There's plenty of people that wore New York that I couldn't wait for them to leave. Big deal.

JROD is simply pretending to not understand the difference between rooting for the organization and liking specific players on the team.

I don't think tkf and others root for either: organization or players.

He's pretty much here just to provoke.

Not sure what he adds to the discussion, except make a thread 10 pages longer than it should be.

WHAT? Look Melo isn't perfect but you can certainly say he's a franchise player you can build around. I think it's insane to say otherwise. If the Knicks had gotten anything close to his regular season out of JR last year in the Pacer series they might've beaten them. If we look at the team now Melo has a MUCH improved supporting cast now. We can't all have Lebron James or Tim Duncan. However, Melo will have his best shot to win a title over the next 2 years. This is likely to be the best team he's played on in NY. The Beno signing helps to make the AB trade stand up even better. You have to have consistently good PG play to take advantage of AB on the floor. It's up to Woody and the Players now to put it all together.
