Sadly, and speaking of ebs and flows things are returning back to normal arent they? Melo hasnt played defense in a month, and Melo's great games are followed by those 8-25 shooting nights where he still manages 20ish points to keep up that precious scoring average his minions and MVP touters will cling to.

People here really think I hate the guy, I dont and never have. I just dont think he's the caliber of player you can build a team around. Ive never seen it. Impossible to win in the playoffs when the player you so heavily rely on is totally inconsistent.

Not this upcoming draft, the next few drafts. That quote was to further point out how weak the upcoming prospects are ... it just focuses on this draft! I tell you, some of you need help. Like I said ... facts. Whether we have our pick this year or next year it doesn't change the fact that whoever we draft will most likely have little impact .. but draft picks keep being brought up.

Try reading before making blind assumptions. I wasn't hardly focused on draft picks ... I took yall arguments and asked questions. But okay ...

Your conclusion about Melo isnt holding if you are measuring him with a standard different then other athletes. Comparing Melo to Artest is ridiculous.

If Melo leads the Knicks to the finals, or hell, even to a game 6 or 7 in the conference finals I will most happily buy two rounds at Stout (33rd) for the most die hard Melo minions. Because thats a tiny price to pay for a lot of good playoff basketball to get to that point. Book it dude...

Iron will. I wasnt a big fan of the melo trade because I felt we could have signed him as a FA but trades are best judged years afterwards. I wont really reach a conclusion gill after melo is gone. Possibly retired.

Knicks couldn't have signed Melo as a free agent. The Nuggets weren't going to get stuck like the heat and raps did the previous summer. Melo didn't want to wait for the new more restrictive cba that the owners were promising to get after the lockout.

the nuggets had no say if melo said, I am not resigning and I am leaving next season.. melo wanted money, years and to go to a city of his choice.. he wanted all 3, since that was the case it put denver in a position to then get some value, and boy did they.... good for them as they came off well and dolan got his toy...
