He needs to bring up the rebounding and passing on the next level--but he has a real chance to be a 25-5-5 player in the nBA.2.Isiah Austin--I know he is skinny but he has the most offensive potential of any big man in this draft. He has the ability to be a franchise center and I like who is dad is. The differentiator is the weight room--if he gets in there and is 245 in 2 years--hes the best player in this draft bar none. If he doesnt put the weight on--it could be a bust. Dont let your wife tell you anything different--size matters.
3. Mason Plumlee--he has every chance to be the next Tom Chambers--unreal like athletic ability at 6-10+ runs the floor like a deer and is just touching what he can do in an all around game
4 Alex Len--simple at an athletic 7-1 240 and a solid offensive game he has all the tools to be an all star level 5 in the nBA
5 C.J. McCollum--reminds me a great deal of Steph Curry--same size a little more athletic also needs to transition to PG but has all of the tools at 6-3.
6. Nerlens Noels--best defensive player in the draft needs a lot of work on the offensive end.
7. Nate Wolters---maybe the best PG prospect in the draft--only held back by some athletic ability issues and wingspan. Plays at his own pace and is a really good passer--will be a better pro PG from a passing standpoint than his shoot first need at SD I could easily move him past McCollum if there wasnt a difference in athletic ability.
8. Cody Zeller--not a 5 which to me knocks him down to late top 10. I see him as a 4 with good skills--his he tough enough against brute nBA 4's? Should be a solid pick here.
9. Doug McDermott- Under rated Plays like a Wally Sczerbiak clone in and out.
10.Anthony Bennett-- A little Zach Randolph a little Paul Millsap== lottery pick.
Upgrading the mock draft.

10 Shane Larkin PG
Moving Kelly Olynck to the number 1 prospect--he is as c
lose to the next Dirk that I have seen--no euro version moving
Keeping the list somewhat the same--moving Noel out for injury and bring back Alex Len from the original mock and for the first time adding Marcus Smart VictorOlapido and adding 11-14

Two week update on top 14
1. Kelly Olynck--keeping him here hes the best pro prospect and at 7 feet the only franchise type possibility in this draft
2. Victor Olapido--moved him up to 2. His overall game is just better than Mclemore and Muhhamed. hes a potential NBA all defsnive 1st team type but he can also avg 14-16 points in the nBA
3. Otto Porter--making a meteoric rise in my eyes--he's going to be an NBA all star
4.Ben Mclemore--has shown a real passive side--hes got great skills and talent--but when you play passive like he has the last few games--a red flag goes up. Still talent athletic abilities skills length too much to ignore.
5. Nate Wolters--hey I love this guy--the most under rated player in the draft. He still has bad form on his J but hes the best PG in this draft. He played through pain the last two games and probably came back into that first one when most wouldve stayed out. 6-4 great ballhandler passer hes the Rubio of this draft--not as spicy but better offensive player and just as long. Better athlete than advertised this is no jimmer freddette way off comparison.
6. Cody Zeller--He also shows lack of passion which is darn scary but just like Mclemore size skills athletiscm
7. Anthony Bennett--I had him higher and maybe he should go as high as the 3 position but at 6-7 there will be limits to his game
8 Trey Burke--hes moving up Hes very good Only size keeps him from top 5.
9. Shabazz Muhhamed no lower than this spot
10 Alex Len---Willie Stein is now making a late push but Len is more athletic but this will be a close decision
11 Isiah Austin--if he plays hard works on his body he could end up the best player in draft but his frame is still the type that makes me think underachiever for size and skill set still top 10
12 Marcus smart--He is not the best shooter in the world and hes not a great athelete but has a great body and a diversity of skills
13 Kyle Andersen--another high riser on my list. he wouldve been top 5 out of HS and coulkd be pick 2 if he stays in school next year---he could be a Knick pick at 24-25 if he comes out hes the type wed promise too. Has some Tracy Mcrady in him for sure.
14. Nerlens Noel--I can justify a top 10 pick on him. he was never shaq and this type of injury is just a wait and see. Who will pull the trigger on him--healthy hes top 5 devastating knee injury? His teammate Willie Stein has shown late lottery talent the last few games in his absence.

Picks Kings owns
=====================
2018 second round draft pick from Portland
Sacramento has the right to swap its 2018 2nd round pick for Portland's 2018 2nd round pick [New Orleans-Portland-Sacramento, 7/10/2013]; Portland may convey the less favorable of these two picks to Denver (see Portland Debits)
Picks Kings is sending out
==================================
2015 first round draft pick to Chicago
Sacramento's 1st round pick to Chicago (via Cleveland) protected for selections 1-10 in 2015, 1-10 in 2016 and 1-10 in 2017; if Sacramento has not conveyed a 1st round pick to Chicago by 2017, then Sacramento will instead convey its 2017 2nd round pick to Chicago protected for selections 56-60 (if this pick falls within its protected range and is therefore not conveyed, then Sacramento's obligation to Chicago will be extinguished) [Cleveland-Sacramento, 6/30/2011; Chicago-Cleveland, 1/7/2014]
2015 second round draft pick to Miami
Sacramento's 2015 2nd round pick to Miami protected for selections 31-49 and 56-60 (if this pick falls within either of its protected ranges and is therefore not conveyed, then Sacramento's obligation to Miami will be extinguished) [Miami-Sacramento, 2/20/2014]
2015 second round draft pick to Minnesota
Sacramento's 2015 2nd round pick to Minnesota (via Houston) protected for selections 50-60 (if this pick falls within its protected range and is therefore not conveyed, then Sacramento's obligation to Minnesota will be extinguished) [Houston-Sacramento, 9/17/2014; Houston-Minnesota-Philadelphia, 12/19/2014]
2015 second round draft pick to Cleveland
Sacramento's 2015 2nd round pick to Cleveland (via Boston) protected for selections 31-55 (if this pick falls within its protected range and is therefore not conveyed, then Sacramento's obligation to Cleveland will be extinguished) [Boston-Sacramento, 2/17/2009; Boston-Cleveland, 9/25/2014]
2016 second round draft pick to Oklahoma City
Sacramento's 2016 2nd round pick to Oklahoma City (via New Orleans) protected for selections 31-55 (if this pick falls within its protected range and is therefore not conveyed, then Sacramento's obligation to Oklahoma City will be extinguished) [New Orleans-Sacramento, 1/11/2010; New Orleans-Oklahoma City, 2/19/2015]
2016 second round draft pick to Milwaukee
Milwaukee will receive the more favorable of Sacramento's 2016 2nd round pick protected for selections 56-60 and New Orleans' 2016 2nd round pick and New Orleans will receive the less favorable of these two picks (via Milwaukee's right to swap Sacramento for New Orleans) (if the Sacramento pick falls within its protected range, then Milwaukee's swap right and Sacramento's and New Orleans' obligations to Milwaukee will be extinguished) [New Orleans-Sacramento, 1/11/2010; New Orleans-Portland-Sacramento, 7/10/2013; Milwaukee-Sacramento, 7/12/2013]; this pick conveyance is the same as the one described in "2016 second round draft pick from New Orleans" on Milwaukee Credits
2017 second round draft pick to Cleveland
Sacramento's 2017 2nd round pick to Cleveland (via Boston) protected for selections 31-55 (if this pick falls within its protected range and is therefore not conveyed, then Sacramento's obligation to Cleveland will be extinguished) [Boston-Sacramento, 2/24/2011; Boston-Cleveland, 9/25/2014]
2019 second round draft pick to Philadelphia
Philadelphia will receive the more favorable of Milwaukee's 2019 2nd round pick and Sacramento's 2019 2nd round pick and Sacramento will receive the less favorable of these two picks (via Philadelphia's right to swap Milwaukee for Sacramento (via Brooklyn to Philadelphia)) [Milwaukee-Sacramento, 7/12/2013; Brooklyn-Milwaukee, 6/30/2014; Brooklyn-Philadelphia, 10/24/2014]; this pick conveyance is the same as the one described in "2019 second round draft pick from Milwaukee" on Philadelphia Credits
ANY Picks that are not shown being sent out that are owned by the Sacremento Kings, are owned by the team
========================================================================================================================
So currently their 1st round pick is protected 1-10, Cleveland could own their pick or they could still own it *still could depend on the draft balls*
If the draft pick is picks 11 or later, it would go to Cleveland, if it is before it will be owned by Kings
If makes it complicated to make a trade with the Kings, since they will owe Bulls/Cleveland a pick that is protected 1-10 through 2017 if not by 2017 it becomes a 2nd round pick that is protected 56-60 and extinguished otherwise
Besides the 2019 second round pick to Philly,
basically ALL of the 2nd round picks that they have sent out in trades will NOT likely be conveyed, therefore we can likely trade with them, removing their protections for absorbing the contracts of
Ray McCollum
$816,482
$947,276
Jason Thompson
$6,037,500
$6,431,250
$6,825,000
Carl Landry
$6,750,000
$6,750,000
$6,750,000
or
Maybe even just Rudy Gay
$19,317,326
$12,403,101
$13,333,333
$14,263,566 *player option*
So I would be looking 2 1st round picks, one of which could be TOP 10 in this summers draft and some of their 2nd round picks, of which are predicted to be HIGH/MID range rounders in this summers draft and the next couple of years to take on the contracts of the above players
If we do not get a top 10 pick and it goes to Cleveland this summer, I would be looking at 3 draft picks to absorb the above contracts, along with some 2nd rounders
In addition to the other moves I posted in the Derrick Rose and Chicago trade, along with trading CA in the summer to a contender, I believe we will be able to replenish the lack of assets that we have traded away, utilizing our cap space to rebuild with mainly this year's strong draft and future draft picks along the way, while focusing on player development and coaching/executing the Triangle which will take years to do for Fisher to gain the experience needed *as he is NOT Phil Jackson, maybe bringing in Brian Shaw who is unlikely to resign with Denver as a high payed lead assistant coach to help Fisher, while demoting Rambis to an assistant, and spending some money on trainers and development coaches like
Development Coaches
==========================
Rasheed Wallace/Horace Grant, especially Rasheed Wallace's whos game could translate well in todays game with his ability to post up, shoot the 3pointer, play defense/shot blocking/rebounding/using his body to fight for position, along with Grant who has experience in the Triangle and is still in great shape
Ron Harper or Billups *help our PG's execute in the triangle system and Billups has the same skill set and could also be a very good shooting coach as well*
Kapono *who could be our shooting coach*
Shane Battier/MWP/Scottie Pippen to work on our DEFENSE
Spend money on the BEST TRAINERS and equipment money can buy
====================================================================
Sports Science has improved dramitically and there are so many different philosophies on how to build strength while NOT giving up stiffness/speed/mobility
Especially if we draft Karl Towns who is extremely raw and I think could be Rasheed Wallace's project along with some improved trainers to motivate and constantly work on their games every day
Town's has the highest upside/ceiling but lacks maturity and motivation, if we can acquire many draft picks in this summers draft to go with our pick, so be it
For us to be Championship Contenders we will need to stack up plenty of draft picks
==========================================================================================
Trading for CA would need to be done first for us to trade with The Kings and the lowest I would take for CA would be #1 1st rounder if it is the Pelicans and all 3 of our 2nd round picks in addition to a combination of talents like
Donatas Motiejunas, Terrence Jones, Cory Brewer, and Kostas Papanikolaou *unguaranteed contract*, all of these players could be shipped out in the near future, possibly right away just like Denver did when they raped us in the trade who was able to get a 1st rounder for Felton, 2 1st rounders in MoSgoV, and easily can trade Wilson Chandler if they want and if Gallo's injuries are done, he could possibly be traded for a pick as well, on top of the 60m we helped them save in salaries/taxes that year, and 1 1st round pick, 1 swap 1st rounder, and 2 2nd round picks that were Golden State's *at the time were projected to be HIGH 2nd rounders*
I simply do not believe that we will be Championship Contenders and admitting it and cutting ties with CA to a contender, while collecting as many young players/draft picks as we can to the highest bidders to free cap space instead refocus on doing a true rebuild, while signing cap friendly deals that we can either develop to be part of our roster in the future or/possibly sell high/rotate as assets in the next couple of years
In 2017, all these guys along with the players I suggested in my other post, will be expiring deals and we will have the cap space to sign them with the rise of the salary cap or force a trade like we did with CA in 2010, while we will have many more assets if all goes well, especially if we are able to execute a trade with Houston with CA in the summer
If Derrick Rose does recover, just maybe he could return to a 2nd tier STAR status that could be part of our future or be shipped out as a positive asset
Regardless, there are too many teams that are way ahead of us in terms of future draft picks and multiple young players already that will be our competitors
I do not see us being good enough to be LEGIT Championship contenders this summer and this is on draft day we could make some moves that could make us legit contenders a few years from now, for the next decade after
At the best, we could be bottom seed in the East if we decide to sign talents like Monroe and/or whoever, while having a short window on winning with CA's injury being a huge question mark
He lacks leadership to begin with, lacks the ability to create shots for his team mates, and is not a lock down defender or even a good defender
After this surgery he will only get slower and less athletic, likely making him a PF that lacks shot blocking ability on top of it
He isn't a player to be the #1 player to build around at his salary but if he joins a team stacked with talent, even despite his max salary, he could still be a great shooter with a player like Harden drawing double/triple teams, leaving him wide open shots
For CA to be successful to a Championship contender, he need to play with enough talent to allow him to play with the role he did in TEAM USA, which we are unable to do with our lack of draft picks and limited salary
If he is traded to a team like Houston, where there is no STATE tax and he has the trade kicker, he will make much more money and play with the talent needed to contend, making it a win win for both parties
It will be a process, maybe sign Jeremy Lin to a cap friendly deal in the meantime to keep fans coming at decent ticket prices, while being honest in the approach we need to take for the better of the team for the next decade
With teams like Philly and Boston having about 20 picks each in the next 3 years in addition to some high ceiling prospects, we would be following in their foot steps, similar to Orlando when they traded D12 and were able to acquire Vucevic who was a steal in addition to drafting Olindipo and drafting Elfrid Payton who is an upcoming triple double threat with good defense and great size at the PG position similar to Gary Payton, The GLOVE, and if he is able to develop a decent shot/3pter he will have a very good career
While those teams have many young talents/draft picks, if we are able to acquire multiple picks in this draft and replenish picks in future drafts from trades like this and my other posts, we will be able to attract AND KEEP those talents, unlike small market teams
Imagine if we are able to draft our own high potential ceiling players like Westbrook, Durant, Harden, Ibaka, we would be able to KEEP ALL OF THOSE talents and stay in the luxury because we are the MECCA with Dolan's willingness to pay the tax to KEEP THE TALENT, with fans willing to pay top dollars for tickets, beers, and snacks/food, in adddition to Dolan owning his own TV network, profitting much more if we are able to build YOUNG Championship Contenders for the next decade
