Geez 30 FGA from Felton...has Melo put up this many attempts this year?

Woody is gonna have to find a solution to the 3pt chucking system, it's only a matter of time before teams routinely start chasing us off the 3pt line.

I'm not upset at all. Fans hold athletes to a impossible standard. Those of us who played and have played ball know that you don't shoot/play well every time you hit the court. It's called being human. My coach used to say that you will lose games, just don't go on losing streaks.

Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

chicago is a tough team but still i felt we let this slip away. the mavs and nets games left a bitter taste in my mouth more though

Felton had a lot of unintentional shots off the pick and roll because the roll player couldn't get there and at that point you kind of have to just throw it up there because he wasn't looking to shoot.

Melo would have made a huge difference tonight.

Oh well, can't win em all and we're still 14-5.

We fought hard but a few of our main guys were off tonite. You have to play a great game on the road to win, we had too many turnovers and missed layups.

If we had either Amar'e or Melo tonight, we'd have had enough offense to win. We just didn't have enough against this style of play. And, geez, is it just me, or are the Bulls uglier than the '90s Knicks ever were? I know those Knicks were physical, but I remember them being really efficient also. And Ewing's game was always a thing of beauty. I know that they don't have Rose so they 'have' to play this way to be competitive, and it works for them. The team is to be commended for their 11-8 record w/o Rose and after losing Asik and Korver. Still, I'm glad I don't have to watch them play every night, lol.

felton can't orchestrate to save his life so when kidd and the other one-foot-in-the-grave-ers don't show up the knicks are in deeeep doodoo.

fortunately tomorrow night is against the nuggets. should be a cakewalk

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

Knicks win this game if they have Melo. If Felton tries to do too much it doesn't work. Fortunately he always seems remorseful and introspective after his super bad games and bounces back.

This game sucked. No one could shoot, "Bad Felton" was playing in all his inglory, and even with Tyson getting 18 rebound we were still out-rebounded by Chicago. Also, is JR ever going to have a good game again? I'm not entirely sure the last time he played well but I'm positive it's been awhile.

Nothing to make of this loss other than the Knicks offense needs Melo to generate open shots consistently for the rest of the team. Also, Amar'e would help greatly. Nothing I did not already know. I don't expect to win games against good defensive teams without Melo and/or Amar'e.

Look at it this way, if I told you we'd be 2-1 on a three-games-in-four-nights road trip, with one of those wins coming by 20 against the Heat in their own building, you'd be happy right? Also, we didn't have Melo for two of those games.
