Look even against a bad Nets team if our players aren't hitting shots they are easier to defend. It doesn't mean the coach thinks he can with defense and only cares about Iso's. If the team is stinking it up from the feild, it makes it harder to move the ball, they didn't change what they were trying to do Meg.

Awesome job Nixluva with your insider line to Woodson. We all know him yelling "spread offense" is why Novack and Smith started hitting shots and Chandler stopped missing dunks. You are always right!!!!!

If you actually knew what you were talking about I could take you seriously but you don't know what you're talking about. Why don't you explain to us what sets the team has been running the last 2 games and if they're the same as they had been running recently when the offense struggled? Woody clearly has made a decision to open up the floor and go back to some of what the team was doing earlier in the season, for the purpose of allowing the role players to do what they are more comfortable doing. Even Woody acknowledges that for the good of the team they need to run more of the old offense.
They've gotten back to more of the old PnR, uptempo spread offense.

Good Spacing, PnR, player movement and ball movement are basic principles that you want to execute regardless of whether the shots go down or not. It's the proper approach. When you do it right, it leads to open shots and good rhythm. That's why it works. For a while the Knicks as a team got away from that and they struggled on offense. When it wasn't working for the Knicks it's was because they weren't executing properly and Woody said as much. But then you don't want to accept his own words so what's the point talking to you about anything that makes sense?

The Knicks are just playing better overall since the coaching change. The Knicks have held 15 opponents under 100 since the coaching change. Five of six opponents scored over 100 pts. over the last 6 games of D'Antoni's tenure. It has been a total transformation.

Unfair comparison because Melo was missing shots on purpose. And did you know he was not trying? Dogging it? He said so himself.

Looks like MDA offence to me. Spread the floor, PnR, high % 3 pt shooting, but for some reason its working now, hmmmm!

Melo likes to get the ball in certain places, as well as in the post. that's happening now but not before
