I've noticed that too, when he mixes it up inside he tends to bounce off defenders like a rag doll instead of absorbing the punishment. A few protein shakes in the off season wouldn't hurt I guess.

Gunsnewing - respect to what you are saying. As we watch Derrick Roes do exactly what you describe, please consider how many guards can take a hit and get off a good shot in the paint. Not many.

All LIN needs to do keep his assists ahead of his turnovers. His two to one ratio is good enough for The Answer Man. If he gets hit, cool. He makes (.824) his free throws.

It's not like Toney Douglas and Mike Bibby who have all kinds of deficiencies. Lin is a young player who will improve with maturity. Right now he gets hit and losses the ball but that will improve as his body matures from a young man to a man

1 thing I think everybody can agree on about Lin is that he is fearless.

There was talk of Durant slipping because he was the only one at the draft combine who couldn't bench 185. He was 180lbs

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/draft2007/news/story?id=2894925

Now dude has put on 25 lbs of muscle. Still looks basically the same though.

Think strength training will def. help Lin.
Agree that I want to see him play more at PG and we should keep him as Baron Davis injury insurance because Lin is more of a PG than any other guard on our roster. Cut bibby instead if we sign anyone else.

Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

Shumps strength does help him on D. PG's can't just push him off and he stays into them and when they fight for the ball he usually wins. When SHump goes to the hole he can take the contact and still finish, tho I wish he would drive more, but Lin only needs little bit more strength. He's not really bad strength wise. The important thing is that Lin can wherever he wants to on the court. SPEED KILLS. Lin is fast with the ball. Not every guard is.

If Lin can somehow work on adding evenmore explosion and speed that would be sick. As far as being overpowered, Lin seems like the guy with enough BBQ to work on exaggerating it when he gets fouled, that might be the one thing that could make Lin into an incredible pg. Imagine him having Gallon's ability to draw fouls.

I think Lin is tops in the NBA (granted, in limited time) in foul shots per minute. This is no fluke, however, as he has done this everywhere he has played, including D League.

I saw that in a couple of games. I was like..."Whoah, that was Gallo like." He has that little head bob when he gets hit.

In today's NBA it is such an asset. I have been really pulling for this kid, it would be so awesome to have a PG who is smart, effective, efficient and difficult to guard. And he can run the PnR ! Him and Shumpert could be an incredible backcourt, in due time.

It might be too late at that point. His biggest problem was always his pride/ego.
