7-9 since the trade

We are writing the script on "how to lose a game in every single way possible" and right now, unless you are high on kool-aid, you have to wonder how many games can this team actually win in the last 12 games and if going to the playoffs is any good. Really, this team is killing me. At least when the pre-trade Knicks lost, we had the feeling that the young core was improving. This is really a mess.

I miss Mozgov.

I believe that Carmelo is a great player as long as he is surrounded by player that support the way he plays. This team and the way the Knicks play is not good for Melo. Toney D. for every point he makes he gives up a bone headed play. Amare let Rondo drive under the basket and then put in a lay-up with Amare not even lifting a finger or try to block.

Don't forget the coach. This system wasn't made for this roster.

The previous cast was perfect for Amare. It seems this new assembly for now is not working. We need a big time center and pg.

Why did Amare stall offensively? According to his line he didn't a shot forever before the game ended.

there was no ball movement... Billups was not orchestrating the offense he was struggling bigtime in the closing minutes... the team pretty much panicked down the stretch making ridiculously bad turnovers Billups & TD made the biggest & most costly ones when it mattered most... Rondo was outhustling everyone else on the floor & Pierce was being Pierce, hitting big shots down the stretch like he always does... God I hate that guy.

guys like gallo and chandler actually helped amare more than some want to admit.. both guys could create a shot for themselves and others.. the guys we have now outside of amare, billups and melo can't create anything.. they are running around playing hot potato with the ballon the perimeter.. it is hilarious..

We'd all worship Pierce if he was on the Knicks

Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

No I won't. He is in same boat as Reggie as far as I am concerned.

The only thing this team needs is what we don't have much of and that's time. They have to keep working on things to get their chemistry down. I don't see a team that doesn't have the talent. I just see a team that is lacking leadership at the Point, which is essential to what we try to do. The PG spot was a risky thing to make a change at this late in the season and so far it's not paying off. Billups is really struggling and that injury didn't help at all. Losing games he needed to get comfortable. We have no choice but to keep fighting to get CB acclimated.

no doubt i hate him part of that is out of respect of what he's able to do... but i also think he acts like a douchebag seems to enjoy rubbing it in to Knicks fans at every opportunity, not a very likeable guy all in all but if he were a Knick i'd have no complaints... still would love to see someone smack him & KG in the mouth tho.

Yeah it's they, cuz CB and TD are killing us in key points in the game. Mainly CB, cuz he's supposed to be the main guy. The smart and dependable PG. Right now CB is all out of his comfort zone. This has proven to be a tough transition for many PG's. It was a huge risk changing the PG this late in the year, but in the end I think it will be worth it. Once CB gets the hang of this I think we'll be a tough out for any team we face. Execution is what killed us.

IMHO, you answered the why of the first sentence with the explanation in the 3rd sentence. It's not Fields necessarily, it's Billups, Amare, Melo.

I don't begrudge him those missed shots. Since the trade, dude is still shooting 50% from field and 45% from 3point land. 5 rebounds per for March. Not f'ing bad for the rookie.

8 shots a game in 30 minutes of play is pretty low IMHO.

It's Amare, Melo, Billups. That iso crap gotta stop.

How about that great pass to Jesus Shuttlesworth in the end of the game? I forget, was that Billups or TD?

Billups has sucked. He's played like he doesnt want to be here, which is funny because he doesnt want to be here. I hope these guys decide this year isnt a waste. I really do
