They gave up 100 points but they played very good defense today. They did the best they could against Delfino, Salmons and Mbah-Moute. Those guys are just really talented players and they will get their points. It wasn't meant to be today.

Awesome Antoni impersonation. You missed the part about how the only reason the Knicks lost was because their shots weren't falling.

The shots were indeed not falling in the first quarter. Give credit to the Bucks for their good defense too. There was just a lid on the basket. That's not the fault of anyone, besides maybe the basketball hoop itself. We'll move on from this quickly and get ready for Boston next. We'll be alright.

We'll be alright... like we are and have been in the second half of the season...

Fans that are still fine with this team's performance are either kool-aid drunk or really don't care anymore.

These games haven't been the norm. We are improving.

They're getting better every game. This game was a nice improvement from the last one.

Don't teams like the Bucks know they are supposed to tremble and crumble when they are confronted by our big three?

What the heck.

The Cavs, Pacers, Pistons and now the Bucks didn't get that memo.

It's almost like they don't know what to do out there anymore. When Douglas was starting, it was beautiful because the offense would run through Melo and/or Amare and it simple and very effective. Now with Billups out there, it's almost like we have another guy out there trying to get his own and our guys seem to get confused on who should get the touches. The result is no rhythm whatsoever and it shows out there as there are stretches where Amare doesn't see the ball and/or Melo doesn't get involved.

Big issue that needs to be solved before the playoffs.

Good observation. I've noticed it as well. Melo needs the ball more and billups less. Billups is too up and down, I don't think it's the injury. What a terrible game to watch and the refs were letting them play physical which didn't help us.

I'm not trying to be sanguine, just stating the fact. 13 games is not a lot of time.

However, even the biggest pessimist knows 0-6 against below .500 talent is not the best this team is capable of.

I was never looking at 0-6 or whatever it is...

I don't know that any fan is fine with going 0-6 to the likes of MIL, DET, CLE and IND. But on the flip side we're 6-2 against MIA, Mem, ORL, DAL etc. You can find negatives and positives in every win and ever loss.

No I'm not happy. I'm pissed that on sheer talent alone we don't have a winning record against crap teams.

But what I'd say is that anyone who would undo the trade if given the choice is not recognizing the potential.

I just made a thread about this. Billups seems like the problem lately. I don't think they can bench him - I think he'd totally check out on the season if they did. But I don't think they should pick up his option this summer.

Relax. It's one game. It wont happen too often. We'll be ready next game.

Only one game? How about 15 since the trade? Really, don't tell me you saw anything different from those previous games? We haven't been ready for a game in a while. They may keep it close against the Celtics, as they only seem to wake up against good teams, but Boston isn't like Memphis, they are more like Dallas. You really think they will win?

I don't believe in this team. They are horrible.

4 games in 5 nights is tough. I fully expect a loss tomorrow.

They will be ready for Boston. They will wipe the floor with them.

Ok, now I notice the sarcasm.

I think it's really overblown that he won't play a GOOD C if he had one. The guys we have aren't getting it done, what do you want him to do? We haven't really had a guy that stepped in and said this job is mine and i'm gonna play balls to the wall and force him to play me. That kind of C is gonna play. You think if a guy is rebounding and defending, Mike won't play him major minutes???? COME ON! Who do we have that does that that we haven't been playing?

You didn't answer the question because you have no idea either.

NO I DID ANSWER, but you were too dense to understand it.

Perkins does the things we lack, so YES Mike would play him.

This is a great team with 2 of the top 5 players in the NBA and a great coach. They just have to gel a bit more and then they will be on the Celtics level. Right now they are not but after tomorrow they will be. We are very close. When we beat Boston tomorrow we will propel ourselves into the elite of the NBA. A team like this will certainly not disappoint.

We were 4-2 without him and the arguments at the time... we needed him back something fierce....all because everyone put stock in a couple good games before the injury yet no conclusions should be drawn about the team at this point 15gms played and if you do then logic says the main one that sticks is the team needs time....you know a full training camp and season next year together to figure it out.

Sheldon Williams does those things and he never plays. But I forgive Mike D'Antoni because Shelden Williams' head sometimes gets in the way of passes on the offensive end and leads to turnovers. It's a problem. I definitely think if we had Kendrick Perkins he would be playing many minutes for us. D'Antoni wants defenders. He just don't have any right now. He will get some this summer.

I wouldn't undo the trade. I'd fire the coach and start getting the players we need instead of getting players to satisfy a flawed overall system.
