Are you trying to disrespect ROLANDO BLACKMAN? In that Knicks pic, you clearly photoshopped him with fishnet stockings on.

JUST WHAT IN THE HELL ARE YOU TRYING TO PULL HERE???

I don't think he has it in him to be "THE MAN". He's clearly got all the tools but he just doesn't have that killer instinct that a Kobe or a Wade has.

Yea that last lay up was annoying. He needs to go strong to the rim and finish and not try to be cute with it.

overall I don't get what dantoni is doing, but whatever... I feel for guys like douglas, I feel for gallo at this point... the games are getting less and less enjoyable to watch... I for one would just like to make an honest effort at developing the young guys we have.. Honestly, I can see where this is going and I am against it... As of right now I don't care to see walsh and dantoni march in a bunch if highly paid stars who are going to have the weight of the world on their shoulders to win in NY.... I was misled into thinking that the knicks want to develop their picks.. All of this is BS.. NY will sell their soul to jock sniff a star... whatever... this is why I watch other teams , sometimes watching teams develop players is a beautiful thing.. the knicks got this ish all messed up.... watching gallo sit while house played curly neal of the harlem globetrotters with the ball was a joke

It's gonna be like that with new guys and a hurt star :) I hope the team can eventually settle down and win some games as the season draws to a close. However, this is now going to be about getting a look at the guys we brought in to see if any are worth bringing back thus we see guys playing that it seems like it makes no sense if we're trying to win. At some point we've got to see these guys.

Dolan only cares about selling seats. Im still going to watch games though. We did have a Bill Walker siting. Maybe Douglas isnt that good.

D'Antoni hears the echoes of the boos in his sleep. The Garden knows...and it will eat his soul in the end.

Walsh doesn't need any of our help. He and Mike noticed well before us that Jordan Hill sucked and they dumped him and his 2.7M 2011+ salary without a thought.

And this price you speak of is pretty damn low. A bum in Hill, a 2011 swap with a mediocre team, and a 2012 pick that shouldn't be all that by then if we do this right the next 2 offseasons.

Why you cling to the hopes that Jordan Hill, and selecting 10th or worse in 2011 and selecting 18th and worse in 2012 was going to be a solid foundation to build a franchise on is beyond understanding.

And to get rid of Crawful and Zachass all we had to dump was another bum in Mardy Collins.

Final price tag for reducing a 100M+ payroll to 17M? Mardy Collins (Bum), Jordan Hill (Bum), 2011 Swap with a mediocre team, 2012 pick that shouldn't amount to much of anything.

That's a freakin' coup by Donnie.

Jordan Hill will be hanging with Sweetney and Butler when his rookie deal is up.

Why you're freaked about dumping this trash can is way out of the bounds of logic.

I hope you are right. He left Phoenix when the media began to question him and management asked him to bring in a strong defensive minded assistant. Despite my opinion before he came that he is not a good coach, I don't believe he is a guy that can handle the media pressure that comes with the Knicks job. I think he has been blessed with the 2010 plan that lets him off the hook because he has never had his team or the team he is meant to coach. In my opinion he has gotten a pass to this point from the media despite doing a horrific job in all areas of coaching. If the 2010 plan does not yield at least two stars I think the media will eventually turn on him and the built in excuses that hide his horrible coaching and horrible career minus Steve Nash.

I know we disagree on the trade, but facts are important.

He and Mike noticed well before us that Jordan Hill sucked and they dumped him and his 2.7M 2011+ salary without a thought

They dumped Jeffries. Hill and the picks were the price to dump Jeffries.

And this price you speak of is pretty damn low. A bum in Hill, a 2011 swap with a mediocre team, and a 2012 pick that shouldn't be all that by then if we do this right the next 2 offseasons

It's a big price if they don't. The concern is the Knicks have not done anything right the last 10 years, so they do not inspire confidence that they will the next 2.

Final price tag for reducing a 100M+ payroll to 17M? Mardy Collins (Bum), Jordan Hill (Bum), 2011 Swap with a mediocre team, 2012 pick that shouldn't amount to much of anything.

Hill and the picks were traded for 7 Mill in cap space, not 83 Mill. It would have been a great trade if they took Curry's salary of 11 Mill.

Sergio > Hill

Sergio fills a need on the Knicks no doubt about it, but he was available for a trade exception that Memphis passed on.

Does Hill suck? Maybe, but the point of argument against the trade is the Knicks overpaid. Regardless of what you or I think of Hill and the picks, it was a steep price to pay for Jeffries and that is the consensus around the league and the media, that is they overpaid.
One more thing, Houston traded Landry to Sacto and insisted on Hill to be included eventhough Walsh resisted adding him. So at least Morey, houston's GM does not think Hill sucks.
But no one knows for now, big men take time to develop. In a couple of years we will know the answer.

I agree until the horrible coach part. Players love his coaching style which allows them to freelance. that works with estalished players that know what they are doing on the court, but does not work so well with young players. I always wanted Avery Johnson, but Walsh said D'Antoni will be a chief recruiter in summer of 2010, we will see.
