He was shooting 40% on threes last night before that shot, and finished 5/11 45%.

yeah... i watched the game, but thanks.

lol. and, no, i agree. he's getting a little ****y (like rooster). hopefully he doesn't get carried away and turn into a little nate. but that hair change about 2 weeks back was a bad indication. i think he gets a tattoo by the end of the season, sad to say.

at least he's not doing that lame finger wag over his head thing he used to do

LOL.. i wonder who told him to cut that

which one was lamer, the rooster finger wag salute or the Q Rich head pounds?

man, back when qrich and dmiles did that headpound thing, i thought that was cool. then again i was a senior in high school so..

Nate's starting to rub off a little on Gallo it seems... hopefully not too much.

YEA.. like after the dunk, he did that pose... while it shows a little flair, I am not the biggest fan of those things.. He is young, so hopefully he grows out of that quickly!

I agree, Gallo has to cut the celebrations back. You know it's one thing if you're just on fire, but as TMS said, he had missed a few prior to so it really wasn't necessary.

I think some of you like to be critical for the sake of it. The guy had just made a three on the previous trip down the court and this parking-lot three was the dagger for the game. All he did was shake his head a little. If that was Nate with the two late bombs he would've gone crazy, jumping on the scorers table, hopping on D'antoni's back, teabagging Tina C.

The most disappointing thing about the loss? The Bobcats turned the ball over just 7 times, and forced 16. Additionally, the Cats grabbed more offensive rebounds, 10 to 6. Together, it gave the Bobcats an advantage of 16 additional field goal attempts. Unfortunately, that was not enough. The Bobcats defense allowed the Knicks to shoot 53.4% from the field - so when the Knicks were able to get a shot off, they did quite well.

echo that man... dude's 21 and winning NBA games at the Garder in NYC hitting big shots. Go play hard, win games and have fun young man. This isnt showboating during a 20 point loss in a season where your playing .250 BB.

yeah, i like to waste my time on message boards complaining because i'm bored... come on dude... it's OK to criticize & not be necessarily hating... dude didn't just shake his head a little, he had his arms out stretched in a shrug like MJ after he hit his 6th 3 pointer in a row vs. Portland in the Finals... this ain't a huge deal, just hope he doesn't turn into another attention whore after every play he makes in a game.

LOL w/ur Nate comment... that's exactly what Nate would be doing... for Tina i'd be down to get in on the teabagging

encouraging tho that they won the battle on the boards & kept G Wallace in check, who has torched them in past games & been a Knick killer

hey, i like passionate players just like anyone else... i just think there's a time & place for the showboating & that was kinda overdone... yeah, that was a big shot in the game but the outcome was still up in the air at that point... we almost blew it in the last few seconds of the game because of Nate's getting out of control again... beat your chest, scream at the crowd, get pumped, jump into your teammates in front of your bench after they call a T/O, great, showing emotion is cool as long as it doesn't distract u from the action going on in the game... but that was a little obnoxious coming from a guy who'd just missed 6 3 pt. attempts over the course of the game & wasn't really a factor until the last 2 shots he took... more like gloating than showing emotion over a made shot, don't u think? again, not a big deal, just hope it doesn't become a habit w/Gallo... part of the reason i like him so much is his humility & down to earth demeanor... don't want this guy turning into some self promoting diva like so many other players in the NBA these days.

I hear you. I personally didn't like the pose he made early in the first quarter after jamming it against indiana. At least this one came at the end of the game. As long as he keeps the histrionics til the game is virtually out of hand, I can live with it. Both he and Nate do have the ability to pump up their teammates with their joy though. So an appropriate amount of fire and showboating can be good but it's very hard to know where the line is and very easy to cross over it. Contrast that to Wilson Chandler, who has been great, but who never seems to fire up the team.

when Wilson throws down a mean jam his teammates get excited on the bench... they almost go overboard to compensate for his lack of emotion trying to encourage him to show more emotion at times... Nate's trying to get Wilson to be more showboaty, he even said so during his postgame last nite... that sorta scares me to know our young guys are being taught how to act by Nate.

Indeed. Those were big time shots in a show time moment. He did not do anything to warrant be called a showboat.
Speaking of show time two clock operator errors. One to begin the game? And it certainly looked like a playoff game.
I am certain venturing into the paint was not for the faint of heart. BTW did Duhon have a layup? Can't remember.

Wayched the game last night GALLO WAS HUGE LAST NIGHT I HAVE TO ADMIT, A great 3 PT SHOOTER I think he shot 6-14

5 were 3 pointers.

He's a 3 pt specialist I rest my case. A darn good one though

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

He's becoming more than a 3pt specialist. He was a 3pt specialist from day 1. Now he's rounding out the rest of his game with shot-blocking and passing.
