Ewing was great he isnt on the level of Wade.

He thought the roll wasnt open so he went to go screen because they needed a three put that on Lee. He had 8/5 in the fourth and Nate was 0/8. I am just tired of us playing so stupid I dont care if a team is better. Yes I was trying to get a rise out of Knicks fans because every game Lee get trashed and that is personal to me. There isnt anyone on the team that works harder and wants to be in new york more than him.

Trust me Eddy Curry wants to be in NY because he get paid. Lee is a good player but he isn't a focal point player. He will benefit a lot more if the Knicks had a superstar.

I want Lee to get 13/10 and do the dirty work and win a championship. I only pray we get Wade or Lebron.

THEN STOP DEFENDING HIM TO PEOPLE...if you know him personally, you shouldn't worry about what everyone thinks. Fans are fans...if you can't handle it, stay FAR away from this message board, which one can only wonder why you continue to be here. Not one soul around here is going to make a decision on a new contract or a trade or who should do this or that...these are FANS and they have their opinion. SO if David gets bashed - so-be-it. What's it to you? Why do you keep fighting for him to a bunch of Knicks fans...you will not change their minds and they have every right to say what they want without you having to defend (which is something you want to tell David to do) you little pal.

Does David even know that you take part in this? I mean, its just silly that someone who knows a pro athlete actually cares so much what random Knicks fans think. WHy are you so insecure and obsessive.

BTW., I am not a bitch (though the DJ may tell u otherwise)...nut you set yourself up for this, KING1.

This game proved how important a leader is. This is the type of game where a true superstar could have helped the Knicks win and hold their composure. That is what players like LeBron, Wade and Kobe do they give composure to a team that might be ready to fold.

This is true. Although, Lebron seems to fluster in spots like these too his talent makes up for it. Wade and Kobe really shine in spots like these. I can't believe this late in the season and the Knicks still are unsure who is suppose to take the last shot. This shot by committee stuff doesn't work.

All I know is that if this was the Suns and D'Antoni was coaching Nash would have gotten a very good shot off.

Yeah, Nash is a go to guy. The Knicks don't have that right now. That sequence between Duhon and Hughes passing that ball like it was on fire was digusting.

Thats irked me to no ends when they did that. Hughes passed up a pretty good look too when he passed up to Nate in the corner. Bad pass at that Nate had to jump for it and when he got it he was all off balanced.

I didn't like the fact Wilson wasn't in the game. I would have pulled Lee for Gallo at that point just to get more three point threats in there.

Queenie I respect Ewing and think he is great. I just think before it is done Wade will have three rings and be special also. I just get mad when people who claim they know basketball want to blame this game on Lee when Nate who cant guard anyone goes 0/8 in the fourth quarter.

And Lee can guard someone?
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

This game just proves that this team is rising, but still has a lot to learn OR, you can just insert Superstar of choice and the team is instantly a contender. I think we have a good young core of support players, in fact they're better than many teams with superstars on them. You put a Wade on this team and we're one of the better teams in the East already IMO.

I HATE losses like this, but to me this is a process and unlike most other years, this will all mean something for the future of this team. MDA and Walsh will have a crystal clear picture of what needs to be done and that's a very good thing. So while this is tough to take it's also part of the process.

No this was a terrible loss--maybe the worst loss of the year. I don't want to count the ways why it was so bad.

Come on BRIGGS get with the program. This wasn't so bad the Knicks had a playoff bound team down 16 or 17 points. They made them sweat that has to account for something. A big giant moral victory.

All these losses are bad losses. Knicks have improved this year, but they need to show some progress in closing out games. That is the one critical thing they haven't improved upon at all. There have been many games with Knicks on the doorstep this year that they couldn't close out. And people will say its b/c they play no D- its not really that. The Knicks have no offensive execution at the end of these games and that is the primary reason they have lost. They go down to the last 2 minutes of the game and can't buy a basket.

i'm surprised Al Trautwig was able to watch the action considering how far he was up D Wade's ass all game long.

It was a humiliating loss even considering the officiating. It does point out the need for a superstar who can carry the team on his back in tough situations.

ROFL.

Eh, guess it's a good thing I missed this game as well. Did we really have a 15 point lead to open the fourth? Yikes!

Meanwhile, fellas, again, I think this gets overlooked. This isn't a roster that was built with intent to win. This is a roster that was built out of necessity to dump Isiah's trash. This will continue until July 2010. Then, FA Market or NOT, we can begin building our new team. One that will be built with actual intent on competing as constructed.

This team right now, this is Isiah's scraps, and what you get for Isiah's scraps when you want to reduce salary and contract years. This wasn't built to win!

So I don't know why so many are upset - as if Walsh built this roster to be a contender - and are now coming down on it all.

We're rebuilding and to rebuild you must tear down the previous roster. We're in the midst of doing that. That will take another 16-18 months to accomplish.

...reading a number of posts I'd swear some fans actually believe this is a roster that was constructed with intent to go to war with long term and it couldn't be farther from the truth.

Once some of you come to terms with that the losses won't matter so much.
