Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Chandler had a nice line on a night of awful numbers. Three blocks? Not too shabby.

Why is it that the youngest guys look like the best players every year on this team?

Because they are the only players on the team who still have something to prove.

I like The Mayor's rebounding and blocked shots. He may not be ready but can he learn on the job?

I can say with total confidence that Quentin ain't the answer against paul pierce

Crawford looked abismal out there 0-8 shooting, Is this weight gain thing gonna help him or hurt his game. Just a bad game all around. Even the best teams have had this happen to them not jst in preseason but in the playoffs.

VMart - once observers get beyond the hysterics the question is:

... can the abyssmal shooting tonight be fixed? If so, How?

It's better to have a bad game like this now than later. It can happen to any team at anytime, so let's hope it's just one of those things. It's not like the Knicks are really that bad or that the Celts are really 40pts better, it's a blowout and that is always the type of game that's outside of the norm.

lee just looked really awkward on offense. he was rebounding like david lee but his offense just looked out of sync.

no i dont think fred can run 1. starbury, then either mardy or jamal it seems like zeke is going to. thats who handled it tonight. didnt see much of nate, he's probably the next in line.

i like q rich.

and it was just a bad shooting night, the offense just wasn't moving the ball well at all tonight. z-bo and curry looked awkward, marbury and q were trying to make things happen for the first half and then it just got out of control eventually.

the c's starters killed us in the first, hitting everything.

Okay, but for what tangible reasons do you like q rich?

I thought Q was not very good and I agree with misterearl he isnt the answer at the 3. When Curry and Randolph are in the game together Curry will post up and Zach will roam on the outside. Wondering if this will work. Zach got zero shots the first 6 minutes of the game. He is on this team to score. The Knicks have no balance

You cant be this positive. I love you to death, but you just cant...even Job would be burning up his Knicks gear.

While I agree that this game *could* be a wake up call, I'm more than dismayed that the starters were outperformed to such a degree when going into the season the Knicks, individually and as an organization, have been continually disrespected by the media and fans and have been turned into walking punchlines.

I'm still waiting for the Knicks to take accountability and fulfill their potential. This is inexcusable given the circumstances and like I said earlier, I believe this sort of a loss is not indicative of talent or the lack thereof. These past seasons are not a result of "bad execution".

It cant keep going on like this...you got to understand me!

q is 6'6" 235 and has always played bigger. he has always rebounded well even going back to depaul and the fact that he can stroke the 3 and open it up for the bigs inside is a + too.

if anything the new nba is going to allow the knicks to go with 3 G, Q as a F with curry or z-bo. he can D up bigger guys and post dudes up as well.

hm... the only question left unanswered is who will be the official Knicks (e)scape goat for the 07-08 season? Malik Rose and Q seem to be fan faves so far.

My vote goes to Anucha. The trauma is almost as bad as when Larry came.

BigSmoove - but that was Q with a healthier backbone. Although I wish him all the best, I still think he shuts it down by December.

sebstar - I feel your pain but it's still only one game. Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?!?

If the Knicks are playing this poorly by next week this same time, then you can hit the red Office Depot HELP button. Until then, I want to see a shiftline of Crawford (lead guard) Houston or Nichols (just because) The Mayor (an active 6'8 until The balkman get back) Lee and Zach.
